Basic Hotel Innsbruck

The name says it all. You get exactly what you need, nothing more, nothing less. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and perfectly adequately furnished. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the street noise at night. I can't comment on the croissant breakfast, as I didn't book it. Absolutely recommendable for a few nights, but for longer stays I would probably choose a different hotel.

Excellent Hotel

The Basic Hotel Innsbruck is highly recommended for short breaks or city trips. The rooms are very nice, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect (if you're not sensitive to noise). It's right in the city center, with public transport connections to everywhere right outside the door. The croissant breakfast is also a perfect way to start the day. From various rolls, spreads, and croissants to fruit, muesli, and yogurt, everything is available. A variety of juices and hot drinks are also offered. The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful. For my next trip to Innsbruck, I would and will gladly choose the Basic Hotel Innsbruck again!

I stayed at this property over the Easter weekend. Excellent location in the city center, behind Passa Inn, near a well-kept park, and opposite a bus stop for access to the surrounding areas; we used it to visit Ambras Castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Luggage storage before and after check-in. The property has been recently renovated. Spacious bathroom, comfortable beds.

Clean hotel with spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. Very friendly reception staff. Breakfast was avoided: €10 per person seemed excessive to me. A good option for those looking for substance and hygiene. It's practically downtown, and the view from the room is beautiful. I'll be back!

As in previous years, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Very friendly and attentive staff, well-kept rooms, and a central location. We'll be back next year!

Basic is a minimalist, modern hotel in the center of Innsbruck. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Clean simple rooms in close proximity to the Old Town which as a tourist is perfect. Also walkable is the funicular to the lifts to Nordkette, about a 15 minutes stroll. The reception staff were really helpful. Be warned the lift to the rooms is small and if you have a lot of luggage you will struggle to fit two people plus luggage. For a day or two it's a perfect solution. Don't expect a bar/restaurant, you'll need to find something locally.
