Great overall experience! Friendly staff: breakfast, reception and restaurant!

I travel a lot for work, 120 nights in hotels this year and counting. Once in a while I like to splurge for a bit of luxury. This was not it. Although the facade of the building is old world luxurious, and the wallpaper is pretty, any reasonable expectation of luxury stops at the door. Upon arrival i was looking forward to not having to carry my bags for once, but there was no bell staff. The Uber had dropped me at the wrong end of the building so I dragged four bags (my wife had joined me for a short getaway) the length of the hotel ground floor, which included several steps up and down. The room was clean and presentable but had fallen victim to the minimalist trend, no armoire, no drawers not already filled with safe or coffee supplies etc., so no place to unpack for a 4 night stay. I asked for a luggage stand for the room but tired of waiting after 20 minutes and went to dinner. In the evening we learned that there were no amenities of any kind in the bathroom, just the same 3 pump bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner one finds at any hotel in Europe. At breakfast we learned that there was a buffet, which included self-serve coffee from a machine. While we were told we could order from a menu, no one ever approached the table, wait staff limited themselves to cleaning tables and ignoring gestures from patrons. I wouldn’t mind any of these and other inconveniences, except I’m paying for Five Star service and barely getting three.

I had a wonderful stay at Sapphire House Antwerp. The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the center and close to everything you want to explore. What truly made my stay special was the exceptional team. The Front Office and bar staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. A special shoutout to Gonzo, who gave us the absolute best insider tips for exploring the city! Huge thanks as well to Insaf and Marco, who went above and beyond to make my birthday weekend extra special. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Sapphire House 2 weeks ago. Gonzo, Senna, and the others at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, as was the breakfast staff- the food being nicely presented and tasty, and the coffee hot! The location was handy for walking to sights and restaurants, and we had beautiful weather which contributed to the pleasant atmosphere as we got to know Antwerp. We appreciated recognition of our Marriott status with a spacious room, and it was nice that the staff provided us with pillows more to our liking. Thank you again for a great stay!

Another wonderful stay at Sapphire House Antwerp. Last week we spent a fantastic day in Antwerp, staying one night at this beautiful hotel that is family to us. The check in process was super thanks to Sabine and Senna. Our room was fantastic, a beautiful suite, and the one of my handicap brother was great as well. During the stay, reception colleagues (Gonzo, Vincent, Senna and Sabine) were very helpful and very nice to us. Breakfast was great thanks to the nice service from Lilian. Excellent Location in the Heart of Antwerp The highlight of Sapphire House Antwerp is definitely its location. Very centrally located and within easy walking distance of many of Antwerp’s main attractions, shopping streets, restaurants and cafés, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city on foot. The hotel itself is stylish and comfortable, with a distinctive character that fits well with the Antwerp experience. For a city stay where location and convenience matter most, Sapphire House is certainly a good choice.

Another memorable weekend at Sapphire House Antwerp. From the 13th to the 15th of July we (my husband, me and our dogs) spent 2 very nice days and nights with the Sapphire House family. The checking process with Vincent and Sabine was very nice, very friendly and very professional. We were provided with a very beautiful and spacious room, with all the necessary for us and our loved doggies. The day after, breakfast was great, with a wonderful service provided by Liliia, Jinny, and Ynthe. It was great to see Marco, Gonzo and Inself at the recepotion during the day being very caring always. Great cocktails provided in the evening, a fun encounter with Australian family watching the final of thje World Cup. Overall a very pleasant stay as always. Started shaky in terms of room type but ended up being a great stay. Location is awesome, staff if super nice, service spot on, and rooms wondeful. Gym could use a facelift but the rest of the hotel makes up for it.

This hotel is perfect. Great location, beautiful rooms & property, historical significance and lovely staff. I felt very welcome by entire staff. Plus, it was easy to walk to all the sites in Antwerp.
