Argus Hotel Brussels

The location is excellent, and that's the only redeeming feature. The room had stained walls all over and was extremely neglected. The water was freezing cold for showering, and a hot shower was absolutely essential since it's so cold this time of year. We complained at reception, and they told us that if many people are showering at the same time, there isn't enough hot water. Which I think is a basic requirement for a hotel—being able to shower properly. Another issue was that one day our room wasn't cleaned (it wasn't a big deal, but it's a service you pay for when you choose to stay at a hotel).

A marvel

Aside from its location, the hotel has no other redeeming features. It's almost a 15-minute walk to all the central areas from the hotel, but the rooms are very small and dusty. Despite constantly seeing the room cleaners, the cleanliness of the rooms was terrible. The floors and linens were dusty. Using the elevator was problematic. The bathroom was also cramped, poorly cleaned, and very stuffy. It might only be considered for its location.
