Hotel Knudsens Gaard

Booked on booking.com a small room for two persons. We had a horible night. The room is suitated near the exit door which is used for six more rooms. Doors were opening and closing loudly until far into the night. The room was too hot to have a good night sleep. The thermostate in the floor heating was not working so the intire room heated up. Windows couldn't be open because of the noise of the road next to the hotel and there were no musquito screens placed. The room didn't have active ventilation or airconditioning. The photos on booking.com were not matching with the room. The two person bed was very small, 120cm width. I would recommend the management to use this room for broom closet and stop renting it for more than 100 euro per night as a 4-star room in a 4-star hotel. The receptionist helped fairly. The hotel couldn't serve a good compensation, only a bottle of wine as a sorry. Odense is a great city to visit, so for that reason we will defenitly will come back to see more of the city and enjoy the environment, but not this hotel.

Really cozy hotel with a super breakfast buffet. Location is absolutely perfect where walking distance to the center is manageable if you don't mind walking a bit.

Rooms weren’t exactly clean, but the staff was real friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay.
