Not a luxury hotel but okay enough. Clean and nice and friendly service.
The location works really well, especially if you come by car. The hotel is located a little outside the center of Odense, which is actually an advantage, as it is easy to get to and from the hotel and quickly around the area. One of the best things about the hotel is the staff. We were always greeted by friendly and welcoming employees who greeted us, said good morning and generally seemed genuinely interested in providing good service. The staff has been very helpful and service-minded throughout our stay, and that really makes a big difference. The rooms are really nice and comfortable, and the beds are really good. The only minor minus is the traffic noise. If you stay on the side facing the highway and open the window, you can clearly hear the traffic. However, this is also quite understandable given the hotel's location and was not something that ruined the stay. The breakfast buffet almost deserves its own review. 10 out of 10. Really delicious, large selection and generally very well done. You can tell that something has been done with the breakfast. If I had to make one small improvement, it would be a little more fresh cut fruit, such as apples and pears. But that's a very small detail in an otherwise really good breakfast. Overall, a really good hotel with a convenient location, very friendly staff, good rooms, really good beds and an excellent breakfast. We have been very happy with our stay and would choose Scandic Odense again without any problems.
Terribly hot in the room. Bad bunk bed in the families, which caused one of the children to hit his head several times. The room was also too small for the ladder to fit without moving the bed. The door to the toilet squeaked (bad when you sleep 4 in the same room). Stains on the sheets. Boring breakfast buffet.
Quite ok breakfast and hotel. But our room was very hot, even though it was cold in the corridor and the ventilation window was open.
Such a boring hotel, located in an industrial area. No AC in the room. Felt like a ferry. The little contact we had with the staff they were experienced as happy, nice & service oriented.
