Scandic Jyväskylä City

Everything seems to be quite ok, but still somehow I rate this at 3/5. It just doesn't have "the vibe", although I cannot put a finger on what is "wrong". Slightly outdated, hotel split in two (both sides of the street), OK'ish breakfast, dull lobby. Rooms (and beds) were very nice though.

Central location. Varied breakfast. Bed a bit hard. Needs some fixing in the room.

Good room, quiet location and tasty breakfast

A bit old, but clean rooms and washrooms. Sauna, swimming pool and gym are a plus. Good basic breakfast

At the same time, there were a lot of young footballers in the hotel, knocking on doors and making noise. Complained to the counter, but the same thing continued after ten in the evening. Certainly an exception, but my own trip was disrupted by this.

Nice service, good breakfast, soft beds

There is a terribly noisy bar next to it. I had to request for a new room in the middle of the night, as it was impossible to sleep there. Also their "gym" was a terrible room behind the underground garage. I visit Jyväskylä often on work basis, but not coming back here.
