O tym miejscu Virage Paris

Virage is listed as a bar and party venue on Rue Hélène et François Missoffe, in the new Clichy-Batignolles district of the 17th arrondissement, near Parc Martin Luther King. Its 1,500-plus Google reviews suggest a big, busy venue, but we can't confirm whether it is a dedicated LGBTQ+ venue or a mainstream space that hosts some queer nights. Check its programme for the night you plan to go, and check opening hours, which we don't have on file.

I used to live in Berlin, so I’m quite used to the techno scene there and the sense of community that comes with it. I went to Virage today expecting to have a good time because I really enjoyed the music, but unfortunately, I had several unpleasant experiences with the staff. Maybe it’s because I’m used to the atmosphere in Berlin, but I found the staff attitude quite cold and unfriendly. Even though it was extremely hot in Paris, there was very little freedom regarding taking off my T shirt !! For me, techno is not only about the music — it’s also about freedom, respect, openness and creating a welcoming environment where people can feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. I personally prefer places where the staff and the community interact with ppl in a more friendly and welcoming way. If you’re looking for that kind of atmosphere, I’d recommend checking out places like FVTVR or Essaim The music at Virage was good, but for me, the overall experience felt more focused on the brand and marketing than on the community. Hopefully they can improve the atmosphere and the way guests are treated.

I was queuing alone and moving forward while looking at my phone, so I didn't immediately realize I needed to show my ticket. The ticket inspector yelled at me in front of everyone and made me leave the queue instead of simply asking for my ticket. The staff are clearly very poorly supervised. I'm never going back there.

The girl at the entrance got upset all by herself because she didn't hear the answer to her very simple question: "How many of you are there?" In short, someone who thinks she's all that and refuses people out for no reason.

Unwelcoming reception. Especially the lady at the entrance.

The place is nice, even if the decor is a bit "Disney-esque." The crowd is rather young, but friendly and inclusive. The music selection is generally good for electronic music fans.
