We only went for a beer. Unfortunately, the service was very inattentive.
There were four of us eating there. The service was good. I found the prices quite high. They offered three schnitzel dishes and one burger dish. All available with fries or roast potatoes (no salad!). The schnitzels were nice and thin, and the fries were crispy. Despite asking twice, they didn't bring the ketchup we requested.
Nice atmosphere. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

Update: Unfortunately, both the service and the quality of the food have deteriorated significantly during our last two visits, so I can now only give it 3 to 4 stars. Some of the young staff seem overwhelmed, and there also appears to be a new chef in the kitchen. A real shame. We visited the restaurant and were extremely satisfied with the food and service. The house-brewed beer can definitely compete with well-known craft ales. 👍 The cuisine is meat-heavy but still modern and highly recommended. The atmosphere is cozy, and there's a large terrace in front of the building. All in all, a true gem of brewery gastronomy in the northern Ruhr area.
