The sauna is only 500m² "large," but quite old, with the paintwork extremely chipped. The "courtyard" where smoking is permitted is about 10m² "large," and the heater has been deactivated to save energy. The entrance fee seems reasonable, valid for up to 24 hours. However, the sauna is not open 24 hours a day, even on weekends, but for a maximum of 14 hours. Pay attention to the opening hours, or you'll be kicked out in the middle of the night and might not know how to get home! Currently (as of January 29, 2023), the following opening hours apply: Monday to Thursday: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM Friday and Saturday: 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM Sunday: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM Previous promotions, such as breakfast on Saturdays and cake on Sundays, are no longer available. For me, the sauna is no longer an option for now, as it has become very unattractive. Update: The business has been insolvent and closed for about six months; the company has been dissolved, but is still listed as "Temporarily Closed" on Google Maps. Save yourself the trip; you're facing a locked door! I don't expect it to reopen, as the sauna is too small and the furnishings too old.
It's gotten expensive. Admission now costs 27. A small Coke costs 4. 2 out of 6 showers don't work. During the foam party, they should have mopped more often, and now: it's closed without warning. What a shame.
Expensive, dirty. The facilities rarely work (shower). The bio sauna is no longer available. Towel changes now cost three euros. Restaurant prices are exorbitant. I used to go there often and enjoyed it, but now I'd rather avoid it.
Last visit was on January 5, 2024. Currently, the sauna is not recommended because the staff is very unfriendly. The showers remain cold, which is unacceptable. The entrance fee of €27 is still acceptable, as there are also ongoing costs. If it smells of feces, it's probably not the fault of the operator, but rather the visitors who don't clean up after themselves. 1 star because the showers remain cold and because of the unfriendly staff.
A dingy, neglected sauna, unfriendly staff, overpriced entrance fee, one of the three saunas permanently closed, mold in the steam room, incorrect opening hours listed online, dirty, smelly... it's worth going to Essen or Cologne instead. A real shame.
My wristband fell off, who knows where. And for that, I paid €60, plus my honesty, and four Kölsch beers. Once in a lifetime, and never again. There are better options.
