Absolutely terrible customer service and dangerous hygiene conditions. My partner and I stayed here while traveling from Berlin to Kassel, and it was an absolute nightmare. We were charged €85 for a room that was filthy – thick dust everywhere, stains on the sheets, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I suffer from a chronic lung infection, and just minutes after entering the room, the dust triggered severe coughing and sneezing fits. When I politely went to reception to explain my health situation and ask the Indian/Punjabian receptionist for a different room, his reaction was incredibly rude and mocking. When I pointed out the thick dust on the floor, he literally said to me, "Well, you're not sleeping on the floor, are you?" He showed no empathy whatsoever, refused to help, and told us to simply "open a window." (How do I know he's a Punjabi Indian? Because I'm Indian myself. When he checked my ID, he asked me for my personal details and where I came from.) When we decided to find another hotel because I couldn't breathe, he became aggressive. He accused us of "using" the room just because we went in to check it and immediately ran upstairs to inspect it, as if we were lying. Fortunately, another employee eventually stepped in and gave us a different room, but no one actually apologized for the mistake—absolutely appalling behavior on their part. The damage was already done. I'm still coughing from the dust in that first room. The first receptionist has a shocking attitude, zero professionalism, and shouldn't be working in the hospitality industry. Avoid this place if you value your health and basic respect. Hotel Grimm Kassel 🤢🤮🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮

"An unforgettable experience – unfortunately not in a good way ⭐" The room had all the charm of an abandoned roadside diner. Dust was everywhere, there were stains on the bedding, and the carpet had probably survived several generations. The bathroom was a real adventure: limescale, hair, and a smell that even knocked me off my feet. The shower had two settings – ice-cold or a pressure washer. On the plus side: After one night there, I truly appreciate my own home again. Would I come back? Only if I were on a reality show called "Hotel Survival."
