Great place to relax

I spent one night at the hotel on business. The welcome at reception was friendly. I was hoping for a pleasant stay. Upon arriving in my (very small) room, I was in for a rude awakening. The heating was off, and the room was freezing. Turning it up didn't help much; the heating only made it lukewarm. There was no heating at all in the bathroom. The water didn't get properly hot either—it was rather cold. This might be tolerable when it's hot outside, but with daytime temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees Celsius, it's definitely not enough. Another guest I asked at breakfast had the same experience. Breakfast itself was fine. The central location is good for those who need to be close to the train station. However, it's not ideal for those who value peace and quiet at night. The hotel offers parking, which is included in the price.

A small, nice hotel with clean and functional rooms. The train station is just a few minutes' walk away. The service was very pleasant! The breakfast buffet had a lot to offer! The breakfast room was modern and comfortable; I enjoyed it!

The hotel is located right next to the train station and is in a good location as everything is close by, however the rooms are very small for the price, there is no way to keep drinks cold or, as is now common everywhere, to make coffee in the room, and the tables are not properly cleaned; it seems they just skip over the mise en place.

We enjoy hiking in Saxon Switzerland, and this hotel is very conveniently located near the central bus station and train station. Many hiking trailheads are easily accessible from there. The old town is also within easy walking distance. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is good.
