Hotel & Restaurant Goldener Löwe

Lovely hotel in a quiet location in the heart of the old town. The rooms are very well furnished. The bathroom has a 90s feel. Excellent breakfast. Everything you could want is there, and no cheap supermarket sausage.

The hotel is centrally located, and the public parking spaces in front are a perfect option for hotel guests. The building has an interesting history, which is attractively presented in the entrance area. The staff are exceptionally friendly and dedicated. The rooms are very spacious, quiet, very well-equipped, and spotlessly clean.

A very nice hotel in the old town of Meissen. Just a few minutes' walk and you've reached the city's first sights. Great praise to the service staff, both at reception and in the restaurant (welcoming and helpful). The food in the restaurant was also very good. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel.

A very centrally located, clean hotel with charm and friendly staff. The hotel's own restaurant has excellent cuisine, and the price-performance ratio is still very good. All the staff go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was superb and left nothing to be desired. Meissen is a very beautiful city. We spent New Year's Eve here and it was simply wonderful. The peaceful New Year's package with 3 nights, breakfast, and dinner was perfect. Everything was superb. The breakfast selection, the gourmet meals in the evenings – everything was simply delicious. The friendliness of the staff, the historic ambiance, and the room amenities are second to none. My partner's lactose intolerance was easily accommodated. Having also visited this hotel in the summer and been very satisfied then as now, we highly recommend the Hotel "Goldener Löwe 🦁" in Meissen and would gladly return.

Very inflexible boss, rest of the staff very nice, mold on the bathroom ceiling, very central location, good breakfast

The ambiance was very nice, but the three-course meal was more like a child's portion. The receptionist was a bit inconsistent with his statements. He said we could reserve a parking space later, but later there were none available. We had another request, but it was eventually resolved. Otherwise, everything was good. Breakfast was excellent, and the room was also good.

Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast, friendly staff

We came here for dinner from the neighboring hotel. All the courses were delicious; please mention that the bread contains nuts, as this isn't ideal for allergy sufferers like myself. The service was excellent.
