The hotel's historic splendor overwhelmed me as soon as I entered. Whether it was the murals or the antiques on display, the whole place exuded a comforting sense of tranquility. At reception, you are greeted respectfully and warmly and informed about the local area. I would especially like to commend the professionalism of the young receptionist. The furnishings are well-maintained, elegant, and extremely comfortable, perfect for resting after a long journey. No matter how you arrive, you will be welcomed here. Despite its location in the old town, parking is no problem at all, just ask. A stay at this hotel is particularly appealing to those who want to explore the city of Meissen and are looking for a historical experience to cherish. But it's also ideal for those just passing through and seeking a comfortable place to stay. This certainly won't be my last visit ;)

This lovely hotel is located right in the heart of Meissen's beautiful old town. The excellent French-inspired cuisine is a particular highlight. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired: fresh scrambled eggs, a fantastic variety of healthy options, and a delicious pastry. Superb!

What a shame! I had a very unfriendly phone call with a reservation request. Just because I mentioned I'd checked on Booking.com beforehand, she wouldn't let me finish speaking and rattled off the prices... unfortunately, she didn't pick me up and I booked a different hotel. :(

A lovely, comfortable hotel right in the city center. Friendly staff and good value for money.

The young hotel staff are very friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The rooms are dated and there's mold on the bathroom ceiling.
