The food was delicious. There was a wide selection of game. Everything was incredibly tender and tasty!

We had a wonderful evening at the Forsthaus Coswig. The food was exceptionally fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The decor is also very well done: stylish, cozy, and furnished with great attention to detail. This creates a pleasant and inviting atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. The service deserves special mention. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit that we highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

The welcome was very friendly and completely uncomplicated. Just right for a relaxing and enjoyable short weekend getaway. The hotel is rustic, practical, and functionally furnished, perfectly matching the price-performance ratio. The restaurant right in the hotel is perfect for lovers of traditional German cuisine—absolutely delicious and everything freshly prepared. A true culinary delight, rounded off with a tasty draft beer/pilsner. In short, I felt very comfortable here and can wholeheartedly recommend it without hesitation.

We stayed for a weekend; the price wasn't justified, and the furniture was all very old. Breakfast consisted of reheated rolls, and the coffee came from an old thermos. It was so hot in the room that there wasn't even a way to keep drinks cold. No thanks, never again.

A simple hotel with friendly service. The rooms are a bit dated, but very well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was basic and decent. If we need a room again, we would stay at this hotel again.

I had a wonderful long weekend at the Forsthaus! The room was spotlessly clean and cozy. The friendly and helpful staff deserves special mention – you immediately feel welcome and well looked after – simply perfect for relaxing. The location is also ideal: centrally located and perfect for taking great day trips. Dresden, Moritzburg, and Meissen are all easily and quickly accessible by car. I will definitely be back and can absolutely recommend this hotel!
