PLAZA Premium Almere

Excellent hotel in the center of Almere, right across from the train station, which offers excellent connections to Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands. The hotel is part of the Plaza chain, which operates in Germany and Austria, and guarantees good quality and cleanliness. The rooms are large and the services excellent.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel PLAZA Premium Almere. The staff were kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived, making me feel right at home. My room was spotless and comfortable — it was clear that cleanliness is a priority here. The location is fantastic, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and transport links, which made getting around a breeze. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I would definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended!

I booked a comfort room and the room I was given was much bigger and spacious than I expected for one person. It had a nice view of the quiet green area around it, large, tall windows and a gorgeous bathroom which added to it’s appeal for such an affordable room. The staff were great and attentive to any needs or queries. The location is good, around 20 mins-30 mins via public transport from Amsterdam Centraal depending on the trains available. I particularly liked how the Almere Centrum station is right next to the hotel so going back to Amsterdam Centraal with luggage and anywhere else with transport was quick and went smooth. There is also a bus station next to the hotel. The Almere centre is right near the hotel so if you need shopping, food, cafes locally it is all nearby. The only thing I wish could be improved was the air quality in my room, possibly from the air conditioner which led to my items having a lot of dust catch on them overnight, perhaps the AC needs cleaning or the room easily maintains dust residue. There is a layer of dust quickly settling on everything likely from the AC airflow. I left the hotel with a sudden dry throat, mild cough and a runny nose but the hotel overall was worth the stay I just hope this problem is fixed so I can comfortably return! I would personally recommend it overall due to its transport perks, location and affordability. This was a delightful stay in the Netherlands!

Our room was upgraded to a suite. The suite was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is very well located on the train station square. Numerous bus lines, restaurants, and shops are nearby. We had a very pleasant short stay. We will return.

I stayed here for two nights during my trip to Amsterdam. Upon arrival, my room was ready quickly, allowing me to leave my luggage. The room was spacious and airy, and the staff were wonderful, making for a very comfortable stay. If I ever visit Amsterdam again, I will definitely stay here again. 🇯🇵

It's far from the city center. The train station is right next door. The journey takes about half an hour, and trains run approximately every half hour. Otherwise, it's very good.

Excellent hotel. The very spacious rooms have a stovetop and microwave for cooking. A fairly large refrigerator completes the kitchenette. Coffee and tea are provided, along with bottled water.

What a lovely stay at Hotel PLAZA Premium Almere! Everything was perfectly taken care of: the hotel looked neat and the hallways even had a wonderful, fresh scent. The elevator was beautiful and spacious, and my comfort room exceeded my expectations — bigger and even more beautiful than I had imagined. Hygiene was absolutely top-notch; everything was clean and well-maintained. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back again! :D

I had a really wonderful stay at this hotel. The reception staff were very friendly, respectful, and welcoming. Honestly, they were very professional and trustworthy people. The room looked exactly like the pictures, and the view was absolutely amazing — even better than I expected. The room was very clean, the service was excellent, and everything during my stay was perfect. There was also 24-hour security, which made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel’s location next to the station was very convenient and strategic as well. I truly enjoyed this experience, and if I come back again, I would definitely stay in the same hotel. Even the room view I requested was perfect for photography, and I’ll be sharing videos and reviews about it on my page soon. Highly recommended. A very respectful hotel with wonderful people and an unforgettable experience.

We booked a superior room (more expensive than the standard room). Upon arrival, we were given a standard room (15 m²) instead of the superior room (20 m²), and we were told that the standard room was a superior room because of the king-size bed, which is different from what we saw on the website. In addition, the breakfast buffet was very limited. The television offered only Dutch channels; it wasn't a smart TV. If you have no other option or are determined to stay at this hotel, there's no point in paying for a superior room only to end up with a standard one. We were very disappointed with this hotel.
