City Hotel Tilburg

We had a short (1 night) and pleasant stay at this hotel. Check-in and out was smooth and the room is spacious for a family of 3. As per our request, we got a baby cot for our kid and the amenities are worth the price. Location is perfect, at the city center. walkable distance to many restaurants, shopping places and the train station. Bummer is that they don't have their own parking so one needs to park elsewhere but there are plenty of Paid parking places nearby. Best feature of the room is the spacious window to look into the square and to sit in the window. must be cool during spring and summer seasons to enjoy the view. We had a snow fall when we stayed so it was pretty to look at.

Good price, calm and pleasantly nice staff, clean room. Its directly in the center and even has close by affordable parking in a parkhouse.

For the price I paid, I would have expected decent beds, a decent shower instead of in a bath tub. Going down to breakfast the lights of the elevator started blinking on and off. About the breakfast, while it would start at 7, not everything was provided for f. I. scrambled eggs from yesterday (salmonella?) and virtually no bacon. The location really is the only good thing about this hotel.

We were there for awakinings festival. It was clean, silent , nice room and had nice stuffs. Just a little bit expensive, I think it was because of the festival.

The room was clean, the staff was kind and helpful, breakfast had enough choice and refilled quickly. Expensive but that weekend was in high demand and was lucky to get a room. Just thought that adding toothbrush/paste and cottons in the bathroom would be have been nice. Bed was comfy (too soft for me though). Air fan and air-co available.
