Park Cytadela (Gay Cruising)

Park Cytadela (the Citadel), the large hilltop park and war-cemetery complex north of Poznań's Old Town, is the city's long-standing outdoor gay cruising area ("pikieta"), documented on cruising directories such as cruisinggays.com and menspaces.com. Activity centres on the wooded paths and quieter corners around the cemetery, mainly after dark. Poland is broadly safe and same-sex activity is legal, but this is an unmonitored public space: stay aware of your surroundings, respect other park users, avoid isolated spots alone, and note that the scene here — as across Poland — has thinned since the rise of dating apps.
