Park Cytadela

Park Cytadela, the hilltop park north of the Old Town, is listed in Polish cruising directories as Poznań's pikieta, the local word for an outdoor meeting spot. It appears here for that history, not as a recommendation. Same-sex relations are legal in Poland, but there is no partnership recognition, public indecency is an offence (Art. 140 KW), and the political climate has been hostile; stay discreet. GayOut does not publish meeting points, times or directions for outdoor spots. The safer ways to meet men in Poznań are the bars, saunas and cruising clubs listed on this page, and the apps. Go with the same caution you would use in any park at night: tell someone where you are, keep your phone charged and valuables at home, and leave the way you came.
