I loved it! I recommend it 100%!

We have been visiting Portugal for the past two weeks and our meal at Gruta was the most outstanding, memorable meal of the entire trip. Every dish is thoughtful and perfectly balanced. Beautiful presentation, and very ingredient-forward cuisine. The tamarind mushroom dish was delightful (best form of cauliflower I’ve ever had), as was the fish moqueca, which was bursting with flavors. The corn and okra cone was so unexpected and perfectly executed. I can’t recommend Gruta enough! We will talk about this meal for years.

Thank you again for this wonderful evening! We came for my partner's birthday, and we were surprised by several very thoughtful touches. We asked for a quiet table, and it was perfect (we were on the terrace). The service was attentive yet discreet and very friendly, and the cuisine was refined, delicate, and full of character. Special mention goes to the pearly cod with cassava, and the chocolate entremet with its cuapaçu sorbet. Thank you again to the team!

A wonderful discovery. The space is clean, cozy, and lounge-like, with a small green walkway leading to the restaurant where there are also a few tables. The menu is well-thought-out, featuring local products, and the wine list is well-curated. The dishes I tasted were truly delightful and allowed me to completely immerse myself in the moment. Special mention for the cherry and wasabi dessert. Kudos to the entire team and to Giovanna, who knows exactly what to do and when. We will definitely be back!

The service was very Welcoming throughout the evening. Incredible meal. Appreciate the food and also the all female staff, at least on the two nights we dined. Fish is fresh. Menu is creative. Dessert is next level with the flavors and textures such that we came back another night just for the dessert.

An absolutely outstanding dining experience in Porto! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. We started with the Portuguese oysters, which were incredibly fresh, followed by raw scallops of outstanding quality—delicate, sweet, and beautifully presented. Both starters were among the best seafood we've ever had. For the main course, we had the wild croaker, which was simply superb. Perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor, it showcased the quality of the ingredients and the chef's skill. The desserts were the perfect finale—creative, beautifully balanced, and absolutely unforgettable. Every bite was a delight. The experience was complemented by an excellent wine selection. The wines were perfectly chosen and paired beautifully with the food, making the meal even more memorable. Combined with warm, attentive service and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, Gruta delivered one of the best dining experiences of our trip to Porto. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional seafood, outstanding wines, and modern Portuguese cuisine. We can't wait to come back!

I visited the Grotto for the first time for a business dinner, and it was an absolutely extraordinary experience! The food, the atmosphere, the service, the care and attention are memorable; I was very satisfied and happy with this meal!
