Hotel Savoy Bern

Great location - in a real place where locals have every day life - especially the Saturday market in front of the capitol building. Steps from the train station and still quiet, clean, and excellently managed. The front desk staff are a dream of kindness and good humor. Breakfast is a terrific mix of fresh, in season products including freshly ground coffee made to order with the press of a button. Highly recommend.

Great stay for the value and proximity to the train station and rest of old town. We spent a whole day in Bern and also used it as a base to go hiking in the Alps and see Lucerne. Also great spot to access the bridge to either side of the peninsula. We unfortunately came during the heat wave, which Switzerland isn't really built for, but the hotel provided a powerful fan upon request. Very clean and simple place. Would recommend for couples or small families.

Just arrived and we’re already impressed! The reception staff were so kind and welcoming, which made check-in a real pleasure. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable — the bed, the cushions, and the space itself all exceeded our expectations. Off to a fantastic start. Highly recommend!

I would like to express my appreciation for the receptionist at Hotel Savoy. I’m a driver and from the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with great warmth and professionalism. She was extremely polite, always smiling, and very attentive to every detail. Her kind and helpful attitude made the check-in experience smooth and very pleasant. Excellent customer service that truly enhances the stay at the hotel. I don’t know her name but it happened in 17/05/2026 around 7:15. Even the clients I picked had the same opinion 😊

We stayed for a couple of days in the Savoy. Room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The front staff were always very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is centrally located for the train and trams. Also central shopping area with lots of restaurants and cafes

Very helpful and kind service at the reception as well as during breakfast. They went above and beyond to help us, hockey fans, store our luggage, even though not all of us were staying at the hotel. The ladies and the gentleman at the reception were exceptionally accommodating and wished us a pleasant journey and a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay — I will be happy to return, and so will my friends.
