Fantastic service. We felt very well looked after, very thoughtful staff who go above and beyond. We will certainly return and highly recommend.

excellent location, easy access for tram network & easy walking acess to shops & cafes.

Hotel Adler is a hard working fully functional hotel with exceptional service and very little to complain about. My wife and I were afforded a free early check in which shows their commitment to high service. Complimentary chocolate as well as complimentary non alcholic drinks. The main reason for choosing Hotel Adler was it's cleanliness and location.

Unacceptable double standards, selective rule enforcement, and dishonest customer service. I experienced an incredibly frustrating and deeply biased encounter at this hotel, specifically handled by a front-desk staff member named Cristina/Christina. First, I arrived before the official 3:00 PM check-in time. I was rigidly told I could not check in because my room wasn't ready. However, while I sat and waited, I watched the staff conveniently bend the rules and allow approximately 15 other guests to check in ahead of time with some of them having the same type of rooms and on the same floor as mine. The only glaring difference between myself and those 15 parties was race; they were white, and I am a visible minority. Weaponizing the official rulebook to selectively gatekeep certain guests while showing flexibility to others is a textbook example of casual discrimination. Second, because I was forced to wait until 3:00 PM, the staff recommended I eat lunch at their attached restaurant, Swiss Chuchi, to pass the time. I took their advice, ate lunch, and paid the full bill. Once 3:00 PM arrived and I was finally allowed to check in, the staff handed me my key and casually mentioned that hotel guests receive a 10% discount at Swiss Chuchi.When I immediately confronted her about why she withheld this information when recommending the restaurant just an hour earlier, her excuse was that I "wasn't technically checked in yet." This is completely dishonest and illogical, considering they knew I was a arriving hotel guest eating there on their direct recommendation. Instead of taking accountability for this petty financial gatekeeping, another staff member tried to quickly cover up the situation by offering me a Toblerone bar for the "misunderstanding." A cheap chocolate bar does not make up for being treated like a second-class citizen and being financially deceived. The management needs to seriously review staff's behavior and address the selective, biased treatment happening at their front desk. I paid the same premium rates as everyone else and deserved the same basic respect.

We had such an amazing experience at Hotel Adler for my husband and I's honeymoon. The location was perfect and so close to all the restaurants & shops. Additionally, our room looked over the most beautiful courtyard. Wanted to particularly shout-out Maya & Cristina who made our stay so welcoming & special.

Great hotel. Friendly staff at check in. Nothing too much trouble. Great location and super clean rooms. Some stunning views a short walk away.

We stayed at Hotel Adler Zurich for three nights during our European honeymoon, and it was absolutely wonderful. The location could not have been better—right in the heart of Old Town, surrounded by charming walking streets, shops, and restaurants. It made exploring Zurich incredibly easy and enjoyable. One of our favorite parts was opening our window each morning to the lively sounds of the market—it truly felt like we were immersed in the local culture. In the evenings, we were treated to live music just outside, which added such a romantic and vibrant atmosphere to our stay. The breakfast each morning was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day. We also dined at the hotel’s restaurant and had some of the best fondue of our entire trip. It was a highlight we’re still talking about! Overall, Hotel Adler made our honeymoon feel extra special. Between the unbeatable location, the lively surroundings, and the fantastic food, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Great place, great people 👍 Perfect location in the old town. Still quiet inside the room.

Beds were super comfy, room was clean and the perfect size. The breakfast was delicious and staff very helpful. The only issue is the rooms are not sound proof so we could hear everything happening outside and upstairs. I would recommend!

A great hotel. A very nice location. Room was spacious and comfortable. Walkable distance to everywhere in old town. They even had a hockey room set up To watch the world Championship games. The breakfast in the attached restaurant was good. I would highly recommend to family and friends
