Birthday meal, excellent food,service and setting must be one of the best pub/restaurant hotel in Cornwall Recommended to all my friends 🧡

The food was the worst I've ever experienced.

STAY my son and I recently stayed for one night at Jamaica Inn while visiting a friend who lives on Bodmin Moor, and we had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and full of character, and it was wonderful to spend time in such a historic building. The highlight of our evening was the excellent three-course dinner. Every course was beautifully presented and delicious, and the service was first class. Breakfast the following morning was equally impressive, with plenty of choice and excellent quality food. One of the things that makes Jamaica Inn so special is its atmosphere and history. During our stay, both my son and I had experiences that we couldn't easily explain. While sitting in the smoking shelter, I briefly saw what appeared to be a cloaked figure pass the entrance, only to find nobody there when I looked immediately. Later, my son, who was staying in the older part of the inn, was awakened around 5 a.m. by what sounded like a heavy chest being dragged along the corridor. When we mentioned these experiences to members of staff, they listened with interest and didn't seem at all surprised. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, the inn certainly has a unique atmosphere that adds to its charm and sense of history. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Jamaica Inn to anyone visiting Cornwall. Fantastic food, excellent staff, comfortable accommodation, and an unforgettable experience. We look forward to returning.

Disorganised chaos, more emphasis on gift shop than on service in bar. Staff appeared to be very busy doing nothing. Ordered 3 cream teas, we'd finished our drinks before scones arrived, our fruit scones had about 4 dried up raisins in them but they were tasty as plain scones and served with ample jam and cream. Coffee (cappucino/latte)not available with any milk alternative only cows milk.

we went in for our tea before our long drive home and had a look around the museum, unfortunately gift shop was closed, the food was lovely, had free water to help ourselves the museum was good too but quite small

The history in this place is incredible we loved our visit here sadly didn't see any ghosts but we'll worth a visit food was lovely too

Not as good as I remember when it wasn't part of a group of inns. Impersonal and poorly presented pasty and "salad". A few leaves was what appeared. No steak pasties available, only cheese and and onion. This is Cornwall for heavens sake! Get more organised.

Worth a visit if you passing.

Well worth a trip. We didnt stay over but did eat there. They have a lovely patio area as well as seating indoors. The food and staff were great. Dog friendly. We visited the gift shop and museum, but not the farm shop

Went early evening, staff were rushing around a nearly empty place getting ready for an event later. Eventually found out how things worked and sat in garden. Not much choice for vegetarians. Very ordinary,
