Queens Hotel, Eastbourne

Very nice very clean , very attentive staff , great stay.

We arrived Monday 21st for a two night stay. had an early check in. Initially everything was fine so we asked about having dinner there for our stay and got a swift response that they had coach trips booked so no availability for either of the nights. It appears that the coach trips will get preferential treatment at this Hotel However later on the person who sorts tables/numbers out said we could have a table on the Tuesday evening. There was some miscommunications

Had to move from the hotel we booked for 2xnights Staff were helpful but if you are deciding to go there the rooms are very tired and need updating. It seems to be a main hotel for coach party trips We did bed and breakfast but as very busy the breakfast was not great. Was bearable for 2x nights but I dont feel I could of stayed longer.

Lovely. Rite on the frt. Staff are lovely. Especially Steven. Lovely guy

Cold room, heating was twice a day for an hour. First hotel where corridors where warmer than the room. Won't be back.

Fab visit loved Brighton open market the tee shirt man and the high tea on the Eastbourne peir

Our room overlooked the pier. 👍 Staff all friendly and helpful, food excellent, great location.

Hotel dated but clean . Food satisfactory for price. Went for tinsel and turkey ,the Christmas evening buffet was a disaster.The alocated meal time was 6pm for us ,there was an hourcwait to get in the dining area apparently because other poeple weren't sticking to their time slot. This was unacceptable as many of our group were elderly and not good mobility wise .There were seats down stairs ,the manager apologised but it was disapointing.The last night of entertainment was abismal ,the singer sang hardly any modern songs and what he did sing was not upbeat dance music so the dance floor was empty. We dressed up in fancy dress and made an effort but he finished singing early.It would have been better Christmas day on Wed so poeple wouldn't be worried about getting up gor the 7am breakfast and our departure the next day .
