The Clarendon Hotel

Nice hotel at good location.

Very good price for what you get. Greenwich park is a must see.

Although the location isn't central, it is very easy to reach by both bus and metro. We booked a reservation that included breakfast, and the open buffet breakfast was magnificent. The rooms are very clean.

We had a lovely stay! Staff are amazing and made my family feel very welcome. We had bed and breakfast with our stay which was very very good!! Rooms are just as good aswell. Bus ride away from the o2 Defo would recommend Price was also affordable

Unbeatable location, in front of the park and 5 minutes from the train station. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, despite the lack of air conditioning. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very good and complete. I would definitely come back!

The hotel is very English-style and in an old building, so many details, and the rooms in general, are also old, but quite clean. It's in a very quiet neighborhood, about 40 minutes from the city center. P.S. I edited my review and deducted a star because on weekends, there are such loud parties in the garden that it's difficult to have a conversation in the room.

The Clarendon had been recommended to me by my son because was going with a friend to a show at the O2 and I had also read some other positive comments on line. I was given easy directions from a member of staff when I booked, as we were coming by train and also told of the 108 bus that ran from right opposite the hotel straight to the O2 with an all night service. On arrival our room was ready and spotlessly clean. The hotel is quite old fashioned and quirky, but charming. The rooms are fairly basic, but are adequate and the room rate for a London hotel was very good for bed and breakfast. Breakfast was in a very pleasant dining room, the breakfast buffet was good and the food was actually hot. I asked for coffee with hot milk and I was served with an individual pot of coffee and a separate jug of properly hot milk. Staff were lovely and I was even asked if I would like another pot of fresh coffee after finishing my eggs and bacon. If you are going to the O2 and want a reasonably priced comfortable hotel with excellent (and cheap) access to the venue, I thoroughly recommend the Clarendon. If we had wanted to pay for a taxi they would have organized it, but the bus service is so good it really made more sense to use public transport. We are already thinking of a reason to revisit, possibly to go to Greenwich which I haven't been to for years.
