O tym miejscu Leazes Park

Leazes Park is a Victorian public park just north-west of Newcastle city centre, beside St James' Park football stadium. For decades it has been the city's best-known outdoor cruising spot, centred on the wooded area at the south-western edge by the railings. Activity is mostly after dark. The bars of the Pink Triangle are a few minutes' walk away. Cruising itself is not illegal in the UK, but sex where you can be seen by the public is an offence. Keep it discreet and away from paths. At night, tell someone where you're going, carry little, and be wary of anyone who seems more interested in your phone than in you.

We went to the northern lights and we were disappointed . Toddler liked looking at the lights , expected more excitement from the lights on show or a bit more . It was quite pricey for the admission fee for what it was. We spent around 2 1/2 hours here but a bit of that time was waiting in lines for food . There was so many people there you couldn’t move . Couldn’t take pictures or had to keep stopping and waiting for other people to take pictures . The food stalls were so over priced , for little portions . We decided to not eat much because it costs so much money.

This is the First time visiting Leazes Park at Newcastle and found the park lovely walk around the lake seeing the wild life. The Leazes Park is just 5 minute walk from St James Park Football Stadium too. Visited in the Leazes Park during the morning so not sure what it’s like during night time? Plant seating areas around the lake too. The Park seemed clean and tidy too. 10/10 worth a visit if in the Area.

I've never been to Leazes Park since I was a boy and wanted to see what it is like now. There are one or two issues, the toilets are vandalised and there is a problem with litter in parts of the park, but overall Leazes Park is a nice place to visit and not as well known as Jesmond Dene, so it's not as busy in summer. Basically, Leazes Park is a city centre park five minutes walk from St James Park and opposite the RVI. It's a pleasant place to visit, with a large pond containing several species of duck and goose, tennis courts, a picnic area, a cafe that sells coffee, tea and pizza slices, and a bandstand. Also it adjoins the Town Moor and has cattle grazing in the field opposite, which are an unusual feature so close to Newcastle city centre.

REVIEW FOR THE NORTHERN LIGHTS TRAIL We enjoyed the lights trail, it's quite fun and some parts are spectacular, but overall we felt it was a bit overpriced. My 6 year old really loved it but the adults weren't as wowed. It was quite expensive, especially when you had to pay for rides inside on top. It would be nice if they gave you e.g 1 or 2 free rides included in the price. The worst thing was when Grandma kindly bought a light stick for each of the 3 children but didn't realise until payment that they were an exorbitant £12 each! There was no sign up. Or no obvious sign. And all sticks have broken in some way 3 days later. A real rip off. Still it was a fun experience with some really lovely light moments.

Nice tranquil park just a short walk from the city centre. There is a lake, cafe and toilets, bandstand and children's play area. There are several species of duck to be seen around the lake.

We had a stroll around the park, it was really clean today with many families taking advantage of the great weather & picnicing with friends, nice to see the burnt down bins have been replaced. Cafe was still open with several last minute guests enjoying the sun, lovely visit & the grandstand looked even better than I recall.

Lovely peaceful walk in the grounds of the park. Sat by the pond for a while, which is a nature area. Good to know that events also take place there.

Went to the Northern lights event, it was fairly average (unfortunately) no moments at the end of the trail just kiddies rides, food & drink. Such a pity as we have attended quite a few Christmas light shows in different locations across the country, not on par.

What a dirty filthy run down park this now is, full of pot smokers alcoholics grown men urinating in the bushes in fount of women and children! What the hells my once beautiful city of newcastle now turned into? The whole towns a dump full of filthy streets and run down shops catering only for students and sharks making a fortune from their accommodation. It's now or never to get this giant ghetto cleaned up and back into shape before it's to late and remains a dirty hole forever!! Ps. What the hell are you lot doing in the civic center about it? Open your eyes and have a look around the city centre and parks, are you's pleased with your work?

On first impressions this is a beautiful park with a lake, tennis courts, and plenty of paths to walk around and seating. But. Parts are in a state of disrepair and fenced off. Plenty of rats around to share your lunch or picnic with..

This park is alright but there are lots of dirty equipments at the park, abandoned houses, the lake is quite small, but the cafe is also small, but liked to look at the colourful lights at the Northern Lights

Poor accessibility and crowd management for the live music event. Over half a mile from the road to the At the end, everyone was funnelled through one exit with no staff monitoring, resulting in a dangerous crush. Accessibility needs significant improvement. Would not return for another music event due to this.

Looking for a clean and fun green space for our family while visiting and was terribly disappointed. Hard to find, greenery over growing all the fences and benches, litter, geese poop everywhere, and the building in the park have fallen in disrepair and are covered in graffiti, peeling paint and wood. The actual playground area left little to be desired and needs sprucing up for sure! Hope the city invests in their green spaces! That being said, there were some lovely walking trails throughout…
