Parque Sarmiento (Cruising)

Parque Sarmiento is Córdoba's largest park and its best-known outdoor gay cruising area, a tradition locals trace back decades. Activity centres on the wooded stretch near the Teatro Griego — the spot known as 'La Cueva del Oso' (the Bear Cave) — and around the skate park, and it is busier and more discreet after dark. Argentina is one of the world's most LGBTQ-friendly countries, so there is little legal risk, but this is an unlit public park at night and petty theft has been reported here: leave valuables behind, stay aware of your surroundings and trust your instincts. By day it is simply a pleasant green space for everyone.
