Ocean Palace Beach Resort & Bungalows

The 5-star hotel in Rio Grande do Norte is different now. The room is falling apart, with a leak, cold shower, and poor service.

This was the third and last time I went to this resort. In the bathroom, most nights, I found cockroaches. I informed the maid, and she took no action. The cockroaches continued. The maid only came to the room in the late afternoon, even after I asked her to come earlier. I believe that if I had given a tip, she would have complied with our request. My return flight was canceled and rescheduled for the next day, and I needed another night. I had booked for eight nights, and they charged me 50% more than the price of the previous nights. They don't consider that it was an improvisation due to the airline, nor that I am a guest who has stayed twice before. They only said that it was the price on the price list and that it fluctuates according to demand. I paid the absurd amount of R$ 2268.00 for one night. One of the restaurants, Le Soleil, has very poor service, unprepared staff, amateurs, they don't know how to serve or what they are doing there. I already booked for three adults in Punta Cana, at the Gran Baváro Princess Hotel, for eight nights, and it cost R$ 4,000.00 less than at the Ocean Palace for two people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT. THERE ARE BETTER ONES, IN BRAZIL AND ABROAD.

Points for improvement: Service - Could be improved; while one or two employees are decent, they lack tact in dealing with the public. Food - Nothing exceptional, just average food. Desserts are underdeveloped, and the breakfast cakes are like those cheap ones from 10-real cake shops. Not allowing guests to have lunch before checkout, only letting them vacate the room. People come from far away, pay a lot, and not being able to have lunch before traveling is something the hotel needs to reconsider. Good things: Many swimming pools

Our experience at the Ocean Palace Resort Natal was simply fantastic! We loved staying at this resort! From the wonderful facilities to the variety of dining options. The diversity is enormous, and the specialty restaurants make all the difference in the experience. We had an incredible experience at the Italian restaurant! The food was fantastic, and we ate very well—in fact, we really enjoyed the resort's gastronomy at all times. We also loved the practicality and ease of check-in and check-out; everything was very organized and smooth. The entertainment program also deserves a mention! The evening shows are great, and during the day there are always activities to participate in. We played volleyball with Pantera (a very friendly guy, by the way). In short, we loved everything at the Ocean Palace! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a complete resort with great facilities, lots of food, fun, and activities to enjoy their stay without having to leave. We would definitely return!

We loved the resort, the food and drinks were high quality. The staff were polite and helpful. Recreation was available all day for the children. There was a variety of food and drinks available all day, even in the early morning. The themed restaurants were also great, a very cool experience. One point to improve, in my opinion, is that the children's pool should be heated, as well as the pool with the slides. Natal is quite windy, so it often gets quite cold. My family recommends Ocean Palace! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall, the Ocean Palace is good, the rooms are good, the food is good, and most drinks are cold. My suggestions for improvement: open the gym at 6 am, it gets light very early here, going to the gym at 7 am is too late. I didn't like the glass doors in the rooms. Better service at reception during check-in. Put a self-service freezer in the area near the sea. Too many street vendors on the beach...
