Pousada Recanto Convenções

We went to a show at the Convention Center; the guesthouse was only for sleeping, from Saturday to Sunday. I was disappointed. I wasn't expecting 5 stars, but I also didn't expect to pay R$240.00 and have it be bad. Dark, stuffy rooms, smelling of mold (the only room that didn't smell was the reception). The pool was dirty. The only okay thing was the service when we arrived. It urgently needs improvements!!!

I would like to register my dissatisfaction with the experience at this inn. Unfortunately, I noticed that the staff were quite rude in their service, in addition to the environment being disorganized. A space that should offer hospitality and comfort ended up leaving a very negative impression. The pool was very dirty, when we arrived the person who greeted us already gave us a rude response (I'M JUST ONE PERSON!), the owner doesn't have the profile of an administrator, which is possibly why the employees are like that, the room smelled of mold, the towels were stained, there wasn't even water to buy (we were thirsty in the middle of the night). At no point were they welcoming. I think it's very important for anyone who chooses to stay at this inn, even if it's good value for money, to make sure of the place offered.

I do not recommend it! Except for the bed and the air conditioning, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. The room had a strange smell, felt claustrophobic (no window), had a dark floor, a terrible shower, the closet was even worse, the bathroom faucet was very dirty, the towels were stained, the hallway floors were dirty, and the pools too. I paid for two nights, but I preferred to stay only one and return to my city on the same day after an exam. I also didn't want to venture into breakfast before the exam; I preferred to go out and buy something to eat. Note: It's in a terrible location, it advertises parking when in fact there are only 3 spaces. The guest who arrives first gets a spot, the others have to leave their vehicle on the street, and the place seems unsafe. Photos on Booking.com (it looks like it, but it's not...)

The owner doesn't respond on WhatsApp, posts non-existent vacancies on Booking.com, and even makes you cancel your stay. Terrible service.

I don't quite know where to begin. I went to Recife for work, and when we arrived at the guesthouse, the receptionist was quite friendly and helpful. I can't say the same about the other staff members. The guesthouse is quite claustrophobic overall, and the rooms are even worse. The only window in my room overlooked a tanning salon with piles of pillows. The room smelled bad, and the dark porcelain tile, which imitated wood, contributed to the feeling of confinement. One night, the owner of the guesthouse knocked on my friend's door and entered without asking permission to take some blankets that were there. I don't recommend it. I couldn't stand staying for the period I paid for and went to a friend's house.

I don't think I've ever stayed in such an unpleasant place in my entire life. I only didn't jump out the window because it overlooked a tanning salon (and I hate tanning). The room is suffocating with dark walls covered in wood-look porcelain tiles. The beds are uncomfortable bunk beds, the mini-fridge is old and broken, and the air conditioning doesn't cool properly. To make matters worse, the room stinks and absolutely everything seems dirty. The sheets, the towels, the floor, the walls, etc. It's disgusting. The service leaves much to be desired. The owners live there, so I realized they aren't very professional. The owner entered my friend's room at 10 pm without permission to take some blankets that were there. A lack of respect for the guest. The desperation of being in that guesthouse was so great that I couldn't stand being there for the period I paid for, so I left for a friend's house.

For those attending events at the convention center, the inn is very close by; you just have to cross the street. However, the inn has numerous areas for improvement that should be noted by guests. 1st: Cleanliness and organization: The room I stayed in was dirty, the wall tiles looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, there was mold on the ceiling and cobwebs, the shower stall was extremely dirty, and the bathroom sink had a leak that spilled water near my suitcase in the room. In addition, the air conditioning was also excessively dirty. I believe that no matter how simple the place is, cleanliness and upkeep should come first. 2nd: Service: The problem starts with the online service, which provides little information to guests, neglects some questions, and takes a long time to respond. If you need something during your stay, communication is difficult because there's no receptionist to help you immediately. I needed a floor cloth to stop the leak in the room and it took me hours to get one because no one was available. Furthermore, owners need to learn how to deal better with customers, provide kind service, and be more polite.
