Arts Hotel

A very nice hotel in a great location for visiting Calgary. It's not directly downtown, so it's more relaxed. However, you can easily reach the center on foot in under 10 minutes. The room was very attractive and comfortable, and the small balcony offered a lovely view.

The front desk service upon arrival left a lot to be desired. I arrived with my children at check in time which was about two hours before my husband was due to arrive -but because I did not have a credit card physically on me (he had it) they made me jump through what seemed like a lot of hoops just to be able to enjoy the hotel until he got there. I have never experienced that in my life despite staying in hotels from basic chains to luxury 5 star resorts. If they want to pride themselves as being a fairly upscale place the service did not meet the expectations. I would not put this anywhere close to the type of service you receive at the Fairmont. Room and bed was comfortable and nicely decorated, the pool was enjoyable as it was a beautiful day but if you are used to wonderful service this is definitely not where I would chose to spend your money.

A gem of a boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Hotel Arts is 5 stars without the attitude. Everyone is so welcoming, warm and helpful. The rooms are newly renovated and super tasteful. I enjoyed an early morning swim in a beautiful oasis. Great restaurants and bars both in the hotel and right outside the door. I can’t recommend Hotel Arts enough.

We really liked the hotel, rooms were very spacious, a bit tight for 4 adults but doable. Beds were comfy and its quiet during the night. The only thing that draw me back was the AC, I could tell that it hasn’t been cleaned, as we all suffered stuffy nose whenever we all woke up. But other it was a great space and glad we chose this hotel. Front desk team was amazing, kind and helpful. Always ready to answer question. And cleaning staff I guess were in a hurry as the carpet was still dirty in high traffic area, I get it. Im sure the turn over is high as well. Location is great, close to the core. Walked there within 20 mins. Nothing much to see but glad to experience a quiet week.

Great location and very nice hotel. Excellent service. This is the first hotel I go where you can use Google or Apple casting and you smartphone to watch your favourite streaming services instead of forcing you to watch live tv or pay per view on their TV

My husband & I decided to spend the night to celebrate our anniversary and we had an amazing time! We requested an early check- in so we could enjoy the beautiful pool area for the afternoon. We loved the vibe…great music, cocktails and food! Our room was comfortable, and we were treated to a thoughtful anniversary card and some delicious treats were brought to our room, and we received a complimentary late check -out as well. Ten Foot Henry is just steps away from the hotel, and was a fun spot to grab dinner!

One of my favourite places to stay

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The beds were very comfortable, the location was excellent, and the food and drinks were both delicious. Unfortunately, there were a few disappointing aspects, especially considering the price of the hotel. The pool area was consistently overcrowded, our room had ripped headboards, and the toilet was broken. When we brought these issues to the front desk, we felt the initial response was somewhat dismissive. For a hotel of this caliber, we expected the room to be better maintained. While the staff did eventually offer us one complimentary breakfast as a gesture, it felt a bit underwhelming given the concerns we experienced. Overall, the hotel has many great qualities, but the room maintenance and customer service could be improved to better match the premium price point.

Room with old carpet and noisy ventilation. Great pool, well located.

The hotel promotes its services by featuring the swimming pool. It is revolting. It is the size of a fish pond and accessible by people that are not guests of the hotel. Guests need to reserve and obtain a 3 hour pass. Completely ridiculous. Very few tables in the shade. The pool is like the River Ganges. The promotional photos are extremely misleading. Take a pass, a hard pass, not a pool pass.
