GRIS-Quebec

GRIS-Québec (Groupe régional d'intervention sociale) is a community organisation founded in 1997 that works to demystify sexual and gender diversity. Its main work is school visits: trained LGBTQ+ volunteers talk with classes about their own lives and answer students' questions. It also runs programs for young people and resources for teachers. The office is at 363 rue de la Couronne in Saint-Roch. It is not a drop-in community center, but it is a useful contact for local groups and resources.
