Hotel Zed Victoria

Great, unique place. Close to the mall and things you may need but not downtown where parking is difficult. Beds were really comfortable and so was the entire place.

Had an absolute blast staying in the Sweet Suite (Room 254) with 2 adults and 2 kids! Our room was right at the end, which gave us perfect, quick access to the stairs and our car parked just below. Location-wise, you can't beat it: a mall right across the street and the 95 Blink RapidBus just a block away for easy trips to the museum. It’s a nice area and the pool/waterslide kept the kids entertained for hours. Will definitely be back!

Staff are very helpful and available when you need them. Accommodations are well appointed and clean And include a microwave/mini fridge. On-site restaurant with vegan options. Clean, well heated pool so everyone can enjoy. Close to the bus and close to downtown. Great spot! Will be back.

Retro themed rooms with cool colors, very clean, amazing friendly staff, and they even send you home with a comic book, notepad, pen and a yo-yo!! Very fun and welcoming!!! Will definitely be going back! Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed in the cottage and it was an experience. The first thing we noticed as we opened the door was the smell- we never got used to it. The decor is not only themed in the 70s but also from that era which is fine but dingy. The kitchen floor is super marked up and unappealing as well as the entire bathroom- with ripped curtains and stains, paint chips and dirt in the corners. The rooms were ok, lots of dings and wall paint chips and the closets didn't have doors and were unappealing. The beds were comfy as you could tell they were newer same with the sheets, that part was very clean. We had a toilet over flow issue- as it broke. We called for a repair guy and they were very fast to come, but he left dirty boot prints all over the bathroom floor and we had no towels to clean it up with as we used them to stop the overflowing toilet, so we had to grab some. No big deal just maybe something to observe the surrounding before you leave a repair job or offer for a cleaner to come since he knew the toilet did overflow. Location was busy, but we liked being across from the mall. The pool was good, waterside was super fun for the kiddos. Hot tub is old and could use an update. We also didn't love how in the cottage there is a fire door to the downstairs level (basement exit separate from the main door) it didn't have a lock on it from our side and I didn't love how it could be accessed from a door outside with an appropriate key card- just didn't make us feel safe with the kiddos. The main door had the security lock from inside, so this door should too. Grandmas basement was very much 70s themed as well, pool table and couches but other than that nothing else worth doing down there. We checked out the sauna which looked nice and we would have tried it out if we had time but walking down there around the corner to the love nest smelled of urine so we quickly turned back to head outside. Overall this place was not our cup of tea and we won't be returning.... but we loved the restaurant and would return there!

Can easily take the bus to the waterfront. Great staff, unique atmosphere that makes you smile and the restaurant is fantastic.

We loved staying in this colorful and clean hotel. super nice front desk made a good first impression. only point to improve: there isn't any slippers in the room and you should be carful after shower not to slip on the tiles outside of the bathroom.

The rooms were so fun with great attention to detail. The staff love their jobs and it shows. They even helped fix our broken suitcase. Just a great vibe !! It is Family focused so it can get a little loud, but the sounds of kids giggling and playing is a refreshing sound. We had friends staying in a luxury suite downtown and they said it was so noisy with sea plans, barges at 6am etc. So a little street noise, and kids isn't so bad. The location may be an issue for some, but the bus stop is near by and its just a short ride downtown. I will definitely stay here again.
