CHECCOS A.C.

CHECCOS (Comité Humanitario de Esfuerzo Compartido Contra el SIDA) is a Guadalajara NGO set up in the late 1980s in response to the AIDS epidemic. It works with men who have sex with men, trans people, sex workers and people living with HIV. Its services cover prevention information, counselling, testing referrals and peer support. The office is at Coronel Calderón 613 in El Retiro, north of the historic centre. Contact them through the website before visiting, and expect most services to be in Spanish.
