Amazing value for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

Do not stay here. No one there to talk to. Everything is done through email or text. They charge an outrageous deposit. $500 for locals and $300 for everyone else. According to other reviews you may or may not get that back. It's at their discretion whether you do or not. Beds are very uncomfortable. Deposit has to be sent through PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. You have to send proof of payment before you get code to get in. With all this checking in is not very convenient. BEWARE BEWARE!

I never made it into the property. They insisted on $300 or $500 deposit via Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal. They’re trying to scam us. Also very rude on phone. Didn’t feel or sound right. BEWARE!!!

Good room for the price. Area seem nice and only half hour walk from the beach.

Before you make a reservation, look at the deposit, I make a reservation for one night , rate was $63 , then they sent me message that I have to pay $500 security deposit, when I called them they said yes , you have to, it was mentioned in booking , when I said it’s one night and I did not see that , and I want to return my money they said no , it’s nonrefundable , the 5 stars hotel never asked for $500 security deposit, even if they ask will ask for credit card and will not charge you anything.

Very shady experience. After we paid for two rooms, the hotel suddenly demanded an extra $600 via Venmo. When we questioned this suspicious request, the staff were extremely rude and refused to give us our money back. Completely unprofessional ! I will never go back there.

Fraud alert I booked 2 rooms through hotels.com. They mentioned on their page on the Hotels.com site that they would take credit cards. Once I made the booking, they sent me an email asking for a 300-500$ deposit per room to be sent to them via venmo or paypal. When I refused to pay on the basis that this is unconventional, and that they mentioned that they would take credit cards, they refused to check me in, and didn't refund my nights. Neither the hotel nor Hotels.com would solve this issue after 7+ calls to both places

DO NOT STAY HERE, THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT LET YOU CHECK IN EITHOUT ENDING THEM PRIVATE PAYMENT ON VENMO OR ZELLE. These people are sick and will not give you a code to get in without you sending them payment on a private app. Then when you report the scam to Expedia the people will lie and say you damaged the place. This "McCormick Guest House" is nowhere near McCormick place and will do anything they can to not let you in or steal your money. Do not pay these people outside of your booking app. BEWARE!

McCormick Guest House is amazing, The staff was very friendly and The room was very cozy & Comfortable. Fully Recommended by me
