Unique decor, and the speakeasy merits a different review. Our party ordered cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. The cocktails were well crafted. It was disappointing to see that non-alcoholic options are not listed on the menu but are offered if asked. The food arrived quickly. The guac was delicious but the serving of chips is very small. The endive was fresh and interesting. The paella was filling but not exciting. My main issue with my dinner was that space is at a premium and seating was too close to others. The noise level is so high that it's hard to have a conversation without straining. They also try to turn tables within about 90 minutes so you feel rushed at the end. As an aside, the place has two single unisex restrooms and there seemed to be a line at all times that extended into a narrow hallway. Overall, good food but an average dining experience.

While I didn't LOVE the food (besides the birria which was great) the service and Atmosphere was so incredibly good that I will defintely go back and give it another shot.

The restaurant is cool with nice aesthetic and bar. The speakeasy downstairs had a long line. We sat at the bar when we arrived and enjoyed the cocktails. Great flavors, beautifully put together. Staff at the bar were friendly and helpful too. When we got to our table we ordered food and noticed a shift from the level of service at the bar compared to the table. The server had no personality, we were celebrating a birthday and he didn't acknowledge it at all. We ordered as bottle of wine and he brought a completely different bottle and before we could realize he already poured it. I thought he might come back to ask us how the wine was but that didn't happen either. The food was tasty, good flavors and nicely cooked.

Smashing flavors and smooth service!

Beautiful restaurant, just gorgeous. And they have a nifty $25 three-course luncheon menu. And our server was very pleasant. The food took a while to be served. And the guac came with TWO chips -- TWO? And they were presented all pretty in a bowl rull of rocks. But two chips? And when we asked for more, of course, we were charged for them? Seriously? Chips? The main courses (carne arsada) was cold, but at this point, we were hungry and ate it anyway. Not sure why it took so long to come out when it was cold? A very expensive, unsatisfying lunch. Yes, I know, I should have asked for a manager, but sometimes it is just awkward when you're celebrating an important occasion. It was an expensive lunch for what we received.

Incredible experience! Wait staff was attentive and every dish was a hit. Our highlights were the guacamole, the tomato ceviche, the carne asada tacos, and the corn dessert, but everything was great including the birria and the pork belly tacos. Also note that they can do great mocktails in addition to the cocktails on the menu, though I enjoyed the Jalician. I look forward to returning!

Very solid bites and food. Great drinks and plantain and chorizo taco was the best bite. Would recommend for a summer lunch outing.

Food is very overpriced here and flavor lacks a bit. Atmosphere is beautiful and staff was super nice but you don’t get a lot for what you pay for.

I went to try their lunch, I was very excited about trying this place. It’s cozy and welcoming, service was good. we had the guac and quinoa, both were good. for mains, we tried the chicken and cochinita pibil, portions are decent. I had high expectations for the cochinita pibil, but it wasn’t good, there was no flavor didn’t even taste like cochinita. I’ll come back to try something by else.

Been here 3x now and needed to review because it's SO consistently good. Somehow we've also had Pablo every time we've come in and he's the best!! Service is fast and Pablo is so much fun, food (especially the seafood) is incredible. Absolutely get the tuna tartare, ceviche, and paella.

Excellent food and service. But they need to do some acoustic treatment; there's too much noise from customers' conversations.
