Baymont by Wyndham Downtown Detroit

Great service and quality. I enjoyed my stay.

This place is cheap and.in a decent location but i believe to have gotten bed bugs from this hotel. Room 116 I was in I believe. Woke up with bites and then a week later at my apartment a hitchhiker had followed me back home🫩 would like to get a refund from the hotel stay or reimbursement for the pestisides. I’ve never had bug bites before so I thought it was mosquitos until a week later & did some research.

I’m still waiting for my refund, two rooms double the money I only booked one!

There were COCKROACHES in my first room so I asked to move rooms and then there were cockroaches in the second room too. The person at the front desk said they have pest control come every week and they never have pests but clearly they do. Breakfast is also just pastries and no enforcement of quiet hours. Never staying at another Wyndham.

staff were nice. but room reeked of cigarette smoke ashtray smell. it’s my bad for not doing enough research. don’t like being a debbie downer but did not enjoy this stay.

For being downtown Detroit you cannot beat the price, service and free parking! It shares the parking lot with 2 different restaurants (which both had very good food). Tubbys and Bread Basket restaurants but sub/deli type food but both had very good food and service! Only down part is no microwave in room however it did have a mini fridge, which is very helpful!

The 2.8 star review does not give this place justice! The hotel was well priced in a great location. We were able to take the bus into town directly for a convention my group and I were attending. Service overall was great!

The worst experience ever! As soon as I got to my room, I requested a refund! There was urine near the toilet. There was still trash in my room underneath the sink. And they had mood on the ceiling. The carpets were filthy in the room and in the hallway. Definitely a motel vibe.

Rooms are small with no windows, staff was friendly, saw a roach or two. They were testing the fire alarms at 7:30 am on a Tuesday. We could hear the janitors playing music and vacuuming at midnight. Theres a really nice restaurant right out front, and the lady at the desk was very nice.

I was skeptical at first because some of the reviews but the rooms and hotel was clean! Breakfast was good, everything was great. Definitely will book again. Thank you!❤️
