PFLAG El Paso

Very disappointed with my food when I got home and for the price I paid for.The chicken soup did not have all the ingredients in it plus it was plan. There was no carrots, celery, cilantro, avocado, and cheese etc as it states on the menu. I order raw oyster and turn around I got some different ones.

We visited El Paso on a Saturday night. Took about 15 mins to be seated which you could expect for a Saturday. Once we were seated, we had to flag down the hostess to get someone to take our order. This was the beginning of the poor service experience. We ordered taco salad and the arroz con pollo. The food was fresh, hot and great flavor. There is also a fresh salsa bar that customers can serve themselves. No complaints on the food or the restaurant’s atmosphere. Nice place with comfortable seats and fun, bright decor. The issue this night was the non existent service. Good food; poor service.

You know how sometimes you choose to eat outside because the inside is just not the cleanest? My husband asked if we should eat outside and I said “it depends on what it looks like inside”. Right when we walked in the host was wiping down menus and the place was immaculate! Honestly they must work hard keeping that place clean and it SHOWS! Decorated very nicely with lots of color! Also they had an amazing deal on Margaritas the night we were there. Their salsa bar is outstanding! But let’s talk about the food! Very FRESH and big portions. We were super impressed! Keep up the great work!

We now have a new #1 on top of our worst Mexican restaurants. My wife got steak and chicken fajitas. Very bland and dried out. Must have been too much trouble to cut up the onions because most of the pieces were the size of half dollars. I got the Three Amigos. The steak was dried out almost crunchy. The chicken breast were rectangular piece of some kind of meat. The shrimp were not peeled and covered in sauce, I gave up trying to get them out of the shells. We did not get silverware and had to wait to get someone's attention to get them. Gave us 3 tortillas for the two of us and again had to wait to get more. No salsa for chips only bean dip. We won't be back.

Service was great! Loved Taco Tuesday ($2 Tacos) and $3.50 Margheritas! Outdoor seating was available, but too hot for me that night.

Service was good. Margaritas were yummy. Food was good. Will stop here again when in town.Liked the little touch with the heart shaped rice.

We went early on a Friday night to beat the crowds and got to choose a booth by the window which suited us. Two of us ordered different entrees from the Vegetarian Menu. One of ours delivered was not what we ordered so we had to wait a short while until they re-made the proper selection. Not sure how that error occurred. But once that was resolved the food was very tasty, served hot, and all our requests were fulfilled by the waiter just fine. Chips were good too and brought to the table right away when we got there. Portions for the entrees and sides were generous. Our booth was a little annoying because when people came in to be seated in the booth next to ours, my seat rocked every time they moved. But by then we were almost finished with our meal. The pricing was reasonable and fair. Was one of the best Mexican restaurants we have been to around NC,

I'm traveling from Pennsylvania, in the mood for Mexican food, I was told this place is pretty good as well as two others. I chose here. I walked in, not very crowded, but, then again, the town was nearly folded up and put away for the night. I waited for a host or hostess to seat me, I requested a booth, no problem. I was seated, almost immediately my waiter, a nice young man was there for my drink order. While he was getting that, I looked over the very comprehensive menu and another young man brought me chips, salsa, and another dip that I had no idea what it was. It ended up being a bean dip, a bland bean dip. Needed cheddar or spice. Okay, I ordered Enchilada Yucatecas. It was good for a little bit, then I just got tired of the taste. It had a sour flavor like lemon or lime. Nothing like I've ever had. While not bad I'll never order anything like it again. It should also be mentioned that my plate had to have been 14" in diameter and it was packed with food! Oh, I should mention that the booth they sat me in had a very loose table. After I paid, I stood up, as I was putting my jacket on, the tabletop with all my dishes fell off. I felt badly for the young man that had to clean it up. All said and done, I'd definitely go back.

5 stars for taste of food. 4 stars for service. 2 stars for quality of margarita. I even ordererd the top shelf margarita hoping to get something that had some tequila in it -- nope. A margarita shouldn't be half a shot in a giant cup with lots of ice and lime juice/syrup. No one wants a gazillion calories in a marg without almost any tequila. Even went during $2 margarita night and after 7 margaritas (I'm not a huge guy), i didn't have the faintest of a buzz. :-( Food is good though. Stick to the beer unless someone in management decides to add tequila to the margaritas. Sad cuz i want to really love this place.

This place needs work! Food was good waiter was the best however the outside seating was a joke, rusty tables and most haven’t ever received a good washing let alone get sanitized. It’s covid19 people and also it’s just good practice for a restaurant 🤮
