Wonderful and welcoming (to All people) staff! Excellent fare and drinks! Everyone feels welcome and the vibe is so fun and relaxed.

I've driven all the way down from Portland for events here. It's SUCH a gorgeous space with such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to this bar for about 2 years now and I’ve never experienced a more inclusive and welcoming place than here! The food is great and the people…. Are amazing! They host so many different and engaging events , it’s hard to decide what to do! Drag bingo is a great night of family fun and the burlesque shows are very entertaining. I cannot recommend enough if you’re looking for a super chill but friendly vibe- this is it for me

An experience unlike many. It is not every day that you can say to yourself, or your friends "Lets have a medieval brunch" and to go into a space that looks and feels curated by the ancients. And this is just what The Sparrow and Serpent offers. A unique, and one of a kind experience in Eugene that welcomes its guests to a timelessness in our modern age. With a sense of community, and building its community; Sparrow and serpent does not ask for approval, but rather, it asks for expansion. This can be a fun dance club OR it can be a space to have meaningful and very deep conversations. And it is the latter part, that I think, comes with the most importance. Because in a world where division is celebrated, this is a space for all rebels and creatives to thrive in communion of energy, and souls young, souls old and souls on their reincarnated journey. It is not for the "casual" of intellect however. Because while some may talk smack on this space, or to its creators. It is NOT a space where chosen, willful ignorance, or chosen celebration of "othering" is tolerated. To me, I believe that this is where the business, and space offers a mirror back to the community . . and if the mirror doesn't reflect what some people "like" then, well, oopsie - you can go to a sports bar. In conclusion, come for the experience, and grow, thrive, explore yourself, and be free in this space. "Hesitations" are best left at the curb. Raise a glass, and bring the laughs.

This is my favorite spot in town. We’re treated like family by the staff. I always feel safe at Sparrow & Serpent. Besides that, it is an inclusive space that plans and executes delightful events year round.

We love this place so much! This is a safe haven for Eugene! They go above and beyond to provide safe space for community! We’ve been to so many amazing events here! Love you so much !

This is my favorite place in Eugene. The food can be a little inconsistent depending on who is cooking, but it is always good. The burgers are fantastic.... better here than down the street at % guys. The atmosphere is awesome with a dark fantasy theme. The events are always welcoming, from the evening adult bar events and concerts, to the family friendly parking lot faires and daytime weekend events. My kid loves it here, we show up to play dungeons and dragons together in a space where the decore is perfect for it. Evening events can be crowded, get tickets ahead of time if you have the option.

This is such a wonderful place! The decor is fun and thought out. You can tell a lot of care went into the atmosphere! There are tons of food options with creative fantasy names for things which match the environment and creates and even further immersive experience. There is a really sweet community that love going there and it’s nice to step into that feeling. Great musical acts come through as well!

Vibe is off and is weird, very political, came for food and left cuz it’s supposed to be dinner, not a political propaganda pressure zone

I ordered the “Villager’s Lunch” which was, according to the menu: Slow broiled Premium corned beef Served on Deli Rye, Real Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, House Thousand Island Served with Fries. What I got was the most gristly corned beef I’ve ever had served on a small hoagie bun. There was no sauerkraut nor was it served with French fries. I’m not one to usually complain but this was absolutely inedible. Almost $20 wasted
