Fashion for a Future is West Michigan’s celebration of the women who are transforming their lives through education, workforce training, and opportunity.
Join HOPE for Single Moms on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Goei Center for an unforgettable evening of fashion, inspiration, and impact.
More than a fashion show, this signature fundraising event celebrates the courage and determination of single mothers pursuing living-wage careers through HOPE for Single Moms’ College & Trades Program and HOPE Workforce Institute. Through education, workforce training, mentoring, and wraparound support, they are overcoming barriers and creating brighter futures for themselves and their children.
The evening features:
* The Walk of HOPE, celebrating current students and graduates of HOPE for Single Moms’ College & Trades Program and HOPE Workforce Institute.
* A professionally produced fashion show by Michelle Krick of Michelle Krick Style, featuring fashions from The James and Roman James.
* Celebrity models alongside our VIP Community Models.
* Inspiring stories of resilience, perseverance, and achievement.
* An exciting raffle, silent auction, and Fund HER Future live auction.
* Networking with community and business leaders committed to strengthening West Michigan’s workforce and families.
HOPE for Single Moms has helped 85% of participating mothers complete their college education within three years, compared to a national average of 8% in six years. HOPE Workforce Institute’s pilot program achieved a 100% completion rate, preparing participants for employment and career advancement. Together, these programs help families achieve economic mobility, reduce dependence on public assistance, and strengthen West Michigan’s future workforce.
