My reviews are generally positive, but I feel this is worth a mention so others thinking of staying here know what to expect. Lots of deferred maintenance and management not wanting to invest in upkeep. Check in: Reserved two rooms, acknowledged Diamond Elite status. Good start, but goes down from there. The lady checking us gave us one set of keys and argued with me when I said we had a second room, after I insisted and showed her my app with two rooms, she finally went to check the stack of papers and sure enough our other set of keys were there. Keys didn’t work, so had to go back down to get them rekeyed. - AC broken in one room - mismatched bathroom door handles on both sides so it doesn’t lock - Hotel room door to the hallway doesn’t shut unless you lift up to align it with the frame - broken ice machine - Broken hot tub (for last two years according to other guests) - very thin and flimsy pool towels - ran out of blankets and sheets for the sofa bed for many guests (heard lady tell several guests that repeatedly) - hole in fitted sheet on main bed - no housekeeping at all in either room (sign says daily light housekeeping like empty trash and towel refresh but they didn’t even enter our rooms despite us being gone all day until dinner - pool side plastic chairs many with broken legs at risk of collapsing if you lean on one side - no fresh fruit at breakfast; it otherwise was decent as much as free breakfast goes - most of the washing machines were broken with out of order signs - unpatched holes and cracks and missing caulk in bathrooms and bedrooms Pro: Decent sized rooms Beds acceptable comfort Not too noisy if you’re away from the elevators and den area Good WiFi Free parking (be ware of all the cracks and potholes though) Management needs to invest some money into bringing this place up to acceptable quality and fix/replace a lot of things. For the $$$ this place charges, go elsewhere.

The furniture was dirty and outdated and the breakfast was not great needed more food to choose from . It took some time to get in our room because the card wasn’t working

There were bugs in the ice maker. The outside was beautiful but dirty as hell. The drain plug for the bath was broken off and no body at the front counter could care less. Even called and left a voicemail for a return call to address my concerns and have heard nothing. Would never stay here again

I have been visiting this location since 2018, about 3-4 three night visits per year. My last visit in May 2025 was disappointing. The property seemed more run down, dirty and needing updates. The major disappointment was seeing 5 roaches. When leaving I told woman at front desk, she said that's common this time of year, with the rain. NO, not in a hotel! I wrote corporate and received a form letter back. Here I am back to KC again, but I am searching for a new location after 7 years. This property has good ratings, but most are old ratings.

My adult daughter and I stayed here for a mother/ daughter weekend away. Registering at the desk upon arrival was nice and no issues. Once we arrived in the suite we had reserved, it was filthy. Dirty sock under a night stand, broken glass next to the bed on the floor, food crumbs and partials all over kitchenette floor and countertops, fishing sinkers on bedroom and tv area floor. I called the front desk and the female clerk said”just a minute”, she didn’t cover the phone receiver or put me on hold. She was talking to someone right by her, I’m assuming a housekeeper on staff. I heard her say “ well, what should I tell her? “ With a bit more chatter she came back online and said “A housekeeper will come up and vacuum”. The housekeeper did come vacuum half heartedly. While she was there I asked if we could have a trash can and some dish rags or cloths since none were left for the stay. She said yes and got the trash can. When she returned with the trash can, I showed her the disgusting mess on the floor and countertops and she said “oh, sorry, this isn’t my floor, I clean the 3rd floor”. That was it. She was done. I couldn’t handle the disgusting mess so I went to the desk and spoke to the female clerk. All she said was “sorry, we have no other rooms available”. I asked for rags and paper towels to clean it myself. The next morning, went for breakfast which was included, and it was as sad as our suite was. I asked if more food would be put out as there was still an hour left and she said they had run out. The filth, poor breakfast and lackluster air conditioning in addition to the female clerk that weekend, will make me NEVER. Stay at another one of these hotels. I had booked through Priceline and they wouldn’t do anything to help the situation either. That will be my last Priceline business transaction too. We would have left if we could have found another hotel with a vacancy. Upon checkout, I told the desk clerk (different than weekend clerk)I wanted the manager to know about our experience. She apologized and said she heard a lot of complaints about the weekend, and she would let management know and hopefully he would make it right. Stay away from this hotel chain unless you don’t care about good service, clean rooms, and promised goods you paid for.

The place is aging; which is fine, you expect some things to be wrong. We stayed two nights, and had put items in the corner by a utility closet. The AC condensation from that closed door had apparently leaked all weekend, soaking my toddlers bed, pillow and other items in the process. Even produced a SLUG in that area it was so damp. A SLUG. DISGUSTING. Their offer was some points that aren't even worth half a night stay in this junk hole. Would never stay again... BARF

This hotel is one of the worst places we’ve stayed in 20 years. Upon check in the male desk clerk was very nice and helpful. However, once we got into our suite, it was obvious the only thing that had been done in it was dirty bedding and towels had been replaced. Nothing had been cleaned. This was a girls weekend away with my adult daughter and I. We booked through Priceline which I have done for years. When I asked for someone to clean our suite, the female desk clerk said they didn’t have anyone there and they didn’t have any other rooms to move us to. I called Priceline to ask what my options were. I was told I had to deal with the hotel. There were no other hotel vacancies around the area we needed so we were stuck. So back up to the room I went. The floor had broken glass by nightstand, fishing sinkers, and a dirty sock. The kitchenette had food on the floor, crumbs, sticky and a gummy (unknown if it was a candy or medicinal). The countertops were also covered in dried on food, sugar and possibly cinnamon and God only knows what else. The coffee maker was filthy so I cleaned it up and ran it so I would be good to go in the morning. However, it was broken and hot water ran out all over the countertop. Which actually was a blessing because the countertop probably hadn’t been sanitized in a very long time. My daughter purchased some Clorox Wipes so we could clean as much as we could. This is really unacceptable. When finding the broken glass, I called down to the front desk and the female clerk (a grown woman) said “just a minute”. She didn’t put me on hold, she just talked to someone near her. I heard her say “well, what do you want me to tell her?”. They visited for a few minutes and she said, “someone will be there in a few minutes”. The housekeeper did come with a vacuum. We showed her the broken glass which was not hard to see and she vacuumed it up as well as some of the sitting area floor. I showed her how dirty the kitchen area was and told her we didn’t have a trash can or towels in kitchen area and she said “oh, sorry. This isn’t my floor, I clean the 3rd floor”. She got us a trash can and bags and turned around and left with the vacuum. This is all terrible in itself, I didn’t mention the huge glob of what looked like feces that was dried up and had run down the wall in the hallway to our room. There is no way anyone with eyesight didn’t see that and even though I told them about it, it was still there the entire time we were lodging there. The inclusion of breakfast was also terrible the first morning. They were out of food an hour before breakfast was to end and made no effort to replace anything. I asked the food service person and she just said “sorry, we’ve been slammed this morning”, “hopefully we will get our truck in the morning so we have food tomorrow”. They did have a nice breakfast the following morning. I know this is wordy but I hope you can learn from our mistake. Don’t take reviews lightly, some had said it was dirty but most were complimentary. The ratings on Priceline are not correct for this location. When we checked out on Monday morning, a very sweet older lady was the desk clerk. She asked how our stay was. I told her our experience. I added probably the worst part was that the weekend clerk didn’t seem to care and didn’t offer any help. I explained that my family owned motels for many years and I understood missing things and getting sidetracked on cleaning, however when an issue is brought to an employee of the hotel and nothing is resolved or even cared about, that is frustrating to say the least. We paid almost $400 for two nights and it was terrible. The check out clerk said “wow, I’m not sure what happened this weekend but there were lots of issues, you're not the only one that told me this”. I asked that she please share this with the manager because if it was my business, I would want to know. She said she definitely would share it with the manager and she would ask him to please make it right with us. No one from the hotel called us, emailed us or made any attempt to apologize for our poor experience. Priceline was not helpful in anyway either. I was told I had to deal with the hotel directly, they had no say. I told Priceline that they should reconsider having this as an option on their website and the person told me they were sorry, they couldn’t help. BEWARE of this location and purchasing stays through Priceline, past experience has been they had their customers backs, not this time! We definitely won’t book another stay here and have used Priceline for the last time.

Always love our stays at any Staybridge hotels, but not this one. Not sure if the dishes wasn't wash right, or at all, they was stuck together. Brown finger marks on the bathroom wall and by the hand wash near the bathroom sink. Possibly poop, not sure, wasn't going to test it. Hair all over the shower walls. The fella at the front desk said to email the manager, so that says a lot. Either he just doesn't care, but he did seem very friendly, or he's not listened to when there's a complaint. The outside has a lot of cigarettes butts, plus some garbage. I can honestly say we're not coming back here at all.

Stayed here over Christmas. Elevator was out of order so they moved us to the first floor. The "Queen" bed was very small. And there was an odd smell. The thermostat didn't seem to work, so we had to get the air running at the unit. Good location. Very close to the stadium and other amenities, but also secluded and very quiet. Would consider staying here again in the future based on the proximity to the stadium and amenities.

Four of us stayed here for our annual sister trip. The staff made the stay amazing. At check in, Zach was so helpful. The gentleman at breakfast went out of his way to assist. We had a two bedroom two bath suite that met our needs nicely. The location was very convenient.
