Staybridge Suites Kansas City-Independence

The staff was amazing! We stayed for my husband's birthday and they remembered every time we walked in the door and wished him happy birthday. Also recommended fun local things to see. Great rooms and breakfast as well 👌

We stayed here several years ago and had a great experience. Last night we came in around midnight after attending a Chiefs game. The front desk clerk was hateful. Her attitude and appearance were NOT professional at all. The hotel was very stuffy. The room was clean but the shower/tub would not drain. The tile in the bathroom needs to be worked on. The cleaning crew was out the next morning and too kuo most of the hallway as we were trying to walk thru. There were carts, trash bags and other random items laying all teu the hallways. The breakfast crew had trouble keeping up the next morning as there were several guest. It was definitely not worth what I paid.

Needs a little updating. Quiet, comfy, close to shopping and attractions.

I am currently staying here and the front desk staff are professional and courteous. Terri, Linda. And Wanda cooks a delicious breakfast everyday. Roxana and Sam are great. Thanks all of you for your great service. I definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been staying at hotels for the last several years for work here and there . I’ve had my fair share of experiences. This is the first time I’m writing because they seem to not care about consumers. I stayed at this residence for 2 weeks . Originally when I came to the residence I paid for the first week at my request and informed them I will complete the remaining balance the following week . I called to inquire about the remaining balance and was given that total . Several days afterwards I was charged 600$ and told the previous payments were just “ pre authorizations “ . I paid $800 originally , then $1091 a few days later $660ish . After the 600 charge they ensured me no additional chargers will happen . When checking out I was charged another 100$ dollars . The lady on the night shift is extremely rude and didn’t even want to assist me with checking out . She said in a very frustrated tone . “ I have not even ran audits yet “ I can’t help you . As if I should know what “audits “ are . I’ll email you your receipt . I stated I would call back and speak with a manager. I called the manager and left a voicemail. Still haven’t gotten a call back and this was Saturday that just passed. I originally was staying in 303 but had to have my room moved because the A/C was not working . For two days I complained about this . I was given the instructions to “ trick the system “ you know like don’t have it too low because it won’t work right . I had my room serviced 1 time during my 14 day stay . Everything I needed towels ,paper towels , napkins etc had to daily go grab it from the front desk . Trash …. Just leave that outside your room door someone will come and grab it . If your planning a business trip or a family vacation I don’t recommend this establishment. I truly wish 0 was an option and I hope no one has to experience what I just experienced. Attatched is a photo of the temperature of the room during my broken A/C frustration.

We made a reservation and paid extra for insurance in case we had to cancel. Sure enough, and thank God, we had to cancel. They are stealing our points and our money now. Truly a bunch of crooks. A nasty, untrustworthy, company with no moral compass or business ethic at all.

I stayed at Staybridge Suites about three weeks ago with my family of eight, and we had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Lilian at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and she was able to answer all of my questions. The rooms were clean, well-kept, and very comfortable. The hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool was also clean, and the kids had a great time swimming and enjoying themselves. Overall, we had a great experience and felt very welcomed during our stay. I would definitely recommend Staybridge Suites and would be happy to stay here again!

Gross hotel, rooms are not clean and the hotel itself is definitely not clean. Nighttime front desk older lady checking us in made us uncomfortable and seemed like she was on some kind of power trip, asking too many unnecessary, rude questions for a simple 1 night stay. We stayed at multiple IHG hotels on our roadtrip and this was the worst one.

Placed a Priceline reservation for today. My family asked about if they did early check in Julie was very rude and nasty. We called ahead of time to ask about deposit fee and she was unpleasant on the phone but we gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was just miscommunication over the phone. When we asked about early check in she laughed in our face and said no. It’s not the early check in but the way she handled it. Will be cancelling my reservation.

Do not stay here. The air conditioning does not work in the hall way on the third floor. The air conditioner does not work in most rooms at all on the 3rd floor. We where put on first floor....everytime the people above us flushed their toilet. We could hear water running down the wall beside our bed. People walking above us. Kids crying. The food was . . . . HORRIBLE I've never seen cottage cheese for breakfast. They do not have a buffet. Ill post pictures. The $170 is not worth it. The toilet isnt bolted down! Do not stay here. Go somewhere that the air conditioner works and the toilets are bolted down and you dont have to hear when people flush the toilet above you!! Do not stay here. Horrible
