O tym miejscu Montgomery Pride United
Montgomery Pride United is the main LGBTQ+ nonprofit in Alabama's capital, founded in 2015. It runs the Bayard Rustin Community Center at 635 Madison Avenue downtown, which hosts youth programs, a small free pantry, trans and gender-nonconforming support and programs for older LGBTQ+ people.
The group also organizes Montgomery's Pride, held in October, plus mixers and educational events during the year. Montgomery has very few dedicated LGBTQ+ venues, so the center is the most reliable place to connect. Call ahead or check the website for current drop-in times.
