This is a nice hotel the rooms are good size and clean and decent views of the city. The staff at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. Had two issues though only one elevator works and supposedly been like that for some time according to other reviews and the pool was closed and found out it had been closed for a month which was not mentioned when we booked or when we checked in until we asked where it was when we were ready to use it.
The hotel itself is nice, but it was disappointing to find that the pools were closed without any prior notice. The website also advertises TVs with streaming apps, but the rooms only had cable. We were told the TVs won't be updated for another 3–4 weeks, so it's confusing that this is already being advertised. I also want to say that the front door was sticky and very hard to get open, as well as the bathroom door. The light bulbs in the kitchen area also flickered. On a positive note, the male receptionist was very friendly, helpful, and generous, which made our experience a bit better.
My preference when traveling for work, Albuquerque “San Antonio drive” is my favorite
We chose this hotel for the pool and proximity to the discovery museum on a road trip with our toddler through Little Rock. Unfortunately no one let us know at check-in that the pool has been broken/closed without a foreseeable reopen date. The hotel itself looks like it was built/remodeled in the past decade but with really poor maintenance as the wear and tear is very apparent. Ripped rugs, peeling wallpaper, broken vanity in the bathroom, 3/6 washing machines work and only 1/6 driers (unfortunately the broken ones still take your money though 🤦🏻♀️). I wish we had switched to another nearby hotel but by the time we found out about the pool, we had already unpacked and were approaching dinner and bedtime.
Been to so many different Homewood suites locations, by far that’s the worst out of all of them, really bad breakfast food, free parking is basically parking on the street not inside the parking garage which they charge you $15 per night of stay, small bottle of water is $4.36 which is more expensive than Airport prices which doesn’t even state water on the receipt so they can play the system, I would not recommend, rooms are beat up, not worth it
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights 15-17May. First day was great had excellent customer service. Would like to thank Yolanda for her excellent service and respect towards us and other guest. The check out day was terrible. The lady that was at the front desk seemed to have a bad attitude didn’t speak. Once we received our invoice we noticed we were charged a pet fee. We weren’t charged this fee on our first day but charged on our second day. Told her I am a 100% disabled veteran and my dog was a service dog for emotional support for PTSD. She told me an emotional support dog didn’t meet the standards for a service dog. I serviced over 25 years in the military and my husband over 20 years. We were very disappointed in her attitude and disregard to assist us with the billing issue. We informed her we extended our stay since our father was not discharged from Baptist hospital as scheduled so we were under the impression our paperwork would also carry over from the first day. As long time and loyal Hilton honor members, we are disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service we received up on our check out process on 17May. We could have choose a closer hotel to the hospital but choose to stay at this location because of the excellent customer service we received on our first day. Seems that was a bad idea.
