I liked the location, the bart station is literally across the street if you want to go to the city (San Francisco) plenty of great food in down town.

This is a very nice hotel with views above the city, if you get a room on a high enough floor. Overall, a good experience, and will return again .

Overall a great hotel in the heart of Oakland. Gym needs renovation and better ventilation.

Extremely disappointed with how a lost item was handled. We checked into Room 405 on Sept 25 and requested a room change to Room 827 at 11 PM. During the quick late-night transfer, I accidentally left my Bose headset inside a drawer in Room 405. I reported it to the front desk the next day. The room was vacant between 11 PM and the afternoon of Sept 26 when the next guest checked in—meaning housekeeping was the only staff with access during that turnover window. I later received an email from Housekeeping Manager Rosa Polanco simply stating it couldn't be found. It is deeply concerning that a high-value item left in a closed drawer in an unoccupied room disappears without accountability. Be very careful with your belongings here.

Stayed here several times however the last stay the room was very dirty. Crusty food left on the counter in the room and lots of hair in the bathtub. The service is always nice but the room was very dirty
