My happiest moment to enjoy the good food Plus cozy vibes, Chaval is one of my fav spot in ME with warm welcoming, food is incredible and hard to describe cause I’m so obsessed with all dishes.

I dropped by this restaurant while out for an evening walk. Looking in from the outside, the atmosphere seemed so elegant yet joyful and happy that I found myself walking right in. It felt like stepping into a fairy-tale land, with every staff member being incredibly kind and courteous. The simple tapas, cocktails, and desserts were all absolutely perfect.

Feels like the entire restaurant is serving you!! Incredible dishes with the upmost hospitality!! Such a settling experience with top tier quality dining! Best Portland has to offer! 10/10

I live down the street. How lucky to have this as our neighborhood restaurant? Patio in warm weather is the best. Great wine list. Spanish G&T. Pan con tomate until I die. Gougeres? Always. Just eat here. It's wonderful.

Really creative dishes that had a lot of flavor. I like the combination of Spanish & French cuisine, it worked.

The server is friendly patient and helpful. Really high quality European style restaurant.

Food was fair, had vegetarian options. Service was lousy. Meal served with no plated or cutlery, had to wave down server, server never checked back on us. Either very understaffed or what? Loud restaurant, hard to converse. Probably won’t go back.

Incredible all around. The food, the service, the atmosphere feels like a warm hug. Highly recommend!
