Goodnight Kenny is one of Poughkeepsie’s go-to late-night hangouts, and it really thrives in that space. It stays open late, making it the perfect spot to wrap up an evening, meet up with friends after hours, or keep the night going when everywhere else has closed. The atmosphere is stylish, relaxed, and consistently inviting. The drinks are solid and the bartenders keep things moving, but be prepared—they can be on the pricier side. One major downside is that there are no draft beers at all, which is definitely a letdown if you’re a fan of a good pour on tap. The food menu is limited and just okay, so it’s not a spot you come to for a full meal. Still, the overall vibe, late-night availability, and well-made drinks make Goodnight Kenny a reliable place to end the night. If you’re looking for a chill, modern bar that’s open late and great for drinks with friends, it definitely delivers—just don’t expect drafts or a big food selection.

As a career Bartender I have never been more disrespected in my life. I don’t know how your bar is because security guards would not let me in. They said it’s because I didn’t have ID but they let my other friend in without ID. So for some reason I was discriminated on and mind you I’m 41 years old. I figured I wouldn’t spoil my friends time so I would wait outside while they grabbed a drink. Then they came out and had me get up so they could take all the outside seating inside. I’m honestly disappointed with how I was treated because I heard great things and would have loved to have sent my upscale clientele to your bar but I’m not sending them there to be disrespected like I was.

Excellent from start to finish. Smooth and hassle-free process.

They gave us our first drinks pretty quickly and I will say, their whiskey shot and expresso martini were good, so we wanted to try more drinks mentioned in other reciews. But we never got a chance, because both bartenders forgot about us, choosing to be on their phone the entire time. This was around 8pm on a Saturday night and we were one of only 3 patrons. Their "food" is just something they heat up in an oven and serve it at marked up prices.

Love it!! Very sweet and attentive bartenders and a great selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. Had a really lovely time here and wish I lived closer to come more often! Highly recommend
