We are excited to host local rockers Wonderland Rejects, Hollow Minds, and Gusset LIVE at El Rio! This is a benefit show for The Transgender District https://transgenderdistrictsf.com/ 's Riot Fund! Gusset is a set of four dykes split between San Jose and Oakland. Coming from wildly different musical backgrounds, they’ve found common ground, taking inspiration from riot grrrl and other punk influences. Powerful basslines and loud percussion fueled by queer frustration drive the energy home. After escaping Wonderland, (the happy illusion so many often cling to as a means of looking the other way when their neighbors are in danger), Wonderland Rejects played their first show a few days after the 2024 election.
