Stone Crow Pub

Stone Crow Pub is an easygoing Irish-style dive bar in downtown Springfield, at 5 North Murray Street. Opened in 2024 under new ownership, it occupies the building that for decades housed Why Not III, the city's historic gay bar (1970-2024). Stone Crow itself is a general neighbourhood pub — sports on the TVs, live music, trivia, darts, karaoke and happy-hour deals — but it keeps the address's welcoming spirit, describing itself as inclusive and hosting the occasional drag night. It isn't a dedicated LGBTQ+ venue, but it remains a comfortable, gay-friendly spot and the closest thing downtown has to the old Murray Street tradition.
