A NYC Pride é a maior celebração LGBTQ+ do mundo — uma série anual de eventos que culmina na Pride March descendo a Quinta Avenida e terminando na esquina da Christopher com a Greenwich Avenue, ao redor do Stonewall Inn. O desfile reúne mais de dois milhões de participantes e espectadores, sendo a maior Pride do planeta e uma das maiores aglomerações anuais de qualquer tipo em Nova York.
O Heritage of Pride 2026 acontece entre aproximadamente 20 e 28 de junho, com a marcha principal no último domingo do mês (28 de junho de 2026). O percurso começa na 26th Street com a Quinta Avenida, segue para sul e oeste pela Greenwich Village e termina na Christopher Street — diante do Stonewall Inn, o prédio onde o movimento moderno por direitos LGBTQ+ começou em 1969. Acabar no Stonewall é simbólico e irreplicável: nenhum outro Pride no mundo termina no seu ponto de origem.
A semana anterior inclui: o Rally and Concert no Pier 97, a Dyke March (no sábado antes da marcha principal, do Bryant Park ao Stonewall), o Trans Day of Action (sexta), o Spirit of Stonewall Rally e mais de 200 eventos comunitários por todos os cinco distritos. O PrideFest, na Hudson Street, no domingo, ocorre em paralelo ao trajeto da marcha.
A escala da NYC Pride exige planejamento: hotéis esgotam seis meses antes; as calçadas da Quinta Avenida lotam até 10h; o West Village fica praticamente intransitável depois da marcha. Hospede-se em Midtown ou Chelsea, chegue aos pontos de visualização até as 9h e reserve o dia inteiro para a experiência.
O fim de semana de 2025 foi duplamente histórico como sede da World Pride — evento internacional que circula entre cidades-sede e reúne participantes de mais de 100 países. A World Pride 2025 em Nova York marcou 56 anos de Stonewall, com estimadas 5 milhões de pessoas na cidade ao longo da semana.
