Provincetown Carnival — крупнейшее единичное событие гей-календаря Провинстауна: неделя тематических вечеринок, открытий галерей, костюмированных событий и уличного веселья, кульминирующая костюмированным парадом по Commercial Street, собирающим 60 000 человек в городе с 3 000 жителей. Carnival проходит на третьей неделе августа с 1978 года. У каждого года своя тема — среди прошлых Hollywood, Superheroes, Royalty, Under the Sea — и костюмы, платформы и участники парада — продуманные выражения темы, от изобретательных до зрелищных. Парад идёт по Commercial Street от East End до West End — около двух миль — со зрителями в три-четыре ряда.
