Cuba (쿠바) is a gay sauna on the fourth floor of 6 Bongeunsa-ro 1-gil in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam. It used to trade as Black, and Korean boards and older guides still use that name. Travel Gay (September 2026), Utopia and VAYL all list it, and Google shows it open 24 hours.
Reports describe it as hard for foreigners to get into, so go with modest expectations and a backup plan. Google reviewers rate it 3.3 from about 40 reviews. Bring cash and ID.

The country does not appear welcoming, especially for LGBTQ+ people coming from abroad. I was denied access to a sonaguet today simply because I was not Korean. It was a humiliating experience that shows not only clear discrimination, but also how unwelcoming the country can feel, particularly for gay people from abroad who are looking for a safe space.
